All you New Buds who post here now. Guess most have moved on.

I know thing have been busy in my life, A 10 month-old Grandson keeps this old bud going but not in the direction I'm used to. Those fall bulbs never got planted, barely got the front yard cleaned, forget the back. Anyways that will all be dug up in the spring. Between the new baby and our Halloween Disney Trip somehow one day I looked out the window and it was winter.

Hope all you buds had a joyous and peaceful Christmas and wishing all you buds the blessings of health, happiness abd peace in this new year.

Good morning Mamu!! Happy New Year to you too. How wonderful that you get to see your new grandson often enough to keep you from boring tasks like fall garden clean up! It will still be there in the spring, when he will be mobile and able to help you. Get him a pair of overalls and he will be all set!

Hi all!

Glad to hear from you! Mamu, we too have been visiting with grandchildren more than we had in the past. It means going to Boston! We just got back from a trip, first to Cape May to celebrate Dmom's 86th birthday, and then Christmas. Then up to Boston to celebrate the day after Christmas, but also our 3 grandchildren's birthdays at once, they are Dec. 24th, Dec. 19 and Jan. 3rd, so we do what we can, when we can!!

Amid, I think of you and your great addition and think of the meals and views you are enjoying!!!

My gardening will be hampered somewhat by the addition to our family of our DS and DDiL's 2 dogs, Daisy and Emma. So, with Buster, our garden, pond and grassy area will have to be very lucky to survive, but I will give it a try. Can't imagine the rest of my life without home grown tomatoes and cucumbers, (and maybe asparagus) but I think flowers may slide, thank heavens for perenials, I love coneflowers!

Good to hear from you Mamu! Sounds like your year is off to a joyous start with a new little grandson to play with. Much more rewarding than cleaning up the backyard.
It's been busy(chaos) here with trips to WDW & the cruise, DS away at college leaving his dog Einstein to terrierize the garden & ponds. It'll be a challenge to reconstruct in the spring. DS#2 finally getting his citizenship in time for the cruise. Went back to work for the holidays PT. Liked it might go FT Thinking of spring and all the planting that lies ahead.

Hope all of you had a great holiday season.
Things have been hectic here as well, but slowing down.

I was wondering when all of you were going to be planting or starting your seedlings. Since I live in Hawaii, I am able to plant things year around. I had just planted a few plants of litianthus and a lilly plant. But, I was thinking of doing the seed/bulb exchange again if anyone is interested. This board is now slow, but hopefully we will get some response and participants. If you are interested, let me know.

Just popped in to say happy new year. Glad to see all of you have been busy with wonderful things. I also have a bucket full of bulbs I haven't gotten planted. I'm hoping to get out there before the ground freezes and just stick them in willy nilly. I thought if I don't I just might be forced to try forcing bulbs this year. I just got out there before the holidays and got the cone flowers cut back. The weather here has been unusually warm for the winter. It would be nice if it stayed that way.
