Happy Mickey-versary for 15 yrs! An Oct. 2011 PTR NEW: 11/13 Pretend Disney? & TRlink

I saw this one, too. We'll be in Epcot on the 19th, and that's their last night to play. We'll see how it goes.

It sounds like a good place to relax and eat your goodies from the festival.

Sugar Ray sounds fun! During our trip, Air Supply will play on 11/8, Richard Marx 11/9-11/10 & Big Bad Voodoo Daddy 11/11 & 11/12. I'm sure we won't stop & sit to watch any of the shows, but based on our schedule we might hear a little bit of Air Supply on 11/8 & Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on 11/11. We'll have to see how tired we are after seeing the Osborne Lights on 11/10 - it would be fun to hear Richard Marx since I was a fan back in the late 80s & those early 90s you were talking about!

that's the night we plan to try and catch them too...we'll be at AK mid day and then hop to EP for the evening + EMH that night...maybe we'll see each other again (although how will you recognize us not in costume ;))

we love Big Bad Voodoo daddy...we always wanted to see them at the green Mill in Chicago but it never worked out...Matt will periodiclly put on their CD when he is cooking or cleaning up in the kitchen :thumbsup2

Countdowns and Costumes and DisMeets....OH MY! I was so far behind, but have enjoyed catching up.

I love the costumes! The bouquet is really cool....what a great idea! Way to go Matt! ;)

Thanks for sharing your 9/11 experience. What a difficult day...then and even now, 10 years later.

Can't wait to hear more as this trip gets closer and closer!! YAY!

Partake in yummy desserts @ F&W festival

Ooohhhh I can’t wait to have some great food over the course of our 5 days…we have lots of great dining planned! But noshing around the world, and sampling a little bit here and a little bit there (of course w/ someone very special), is high on my list! Looking forward to trying Lamington cake from Australia (my true Aussie friend says it’s a wonderful treat in her homeland), lava cake from Ireland, pumpkin mouse in the US booths, and lots more

I'll be that lady holding two grey goosies :rotfl:

Yeah, I may be having one of those, or a Grand Marnier Slushie.....:rolleyes1

Ooh, I am still conflicted on whether or not to keep my Le Cellier ADR. It is for lunch, so we could still eat around the world for dinner. But, of course we have hit a snag in our planning. I'll PM you so as not to bore everyone with the details.

This sounds like me! I actually DID have two margarita's (dh didn't like his and gave it to me) and then on another evening, he bought me two grey goose slushies and I walked around with both! :lmao: I won't hijack your thread, but there is a conspicuous pic of me with my two margarita's in my PTR somewhere if you need a good laugh!

The countdown is so fun!

Cobb Salad - yumm especially WITH bluecheese. Never been to HBD but would definitely get that if we did.

Soarin - you will love riding together!

Eat to the Beat sounds fun too, bonus is you don't have to 'watch' but can just grab a seat and listen.

desserts - YUMM, nothing better than something sweet with your sweetie. :lovestruc

Can't believe how fast your trip is approaching, going to be fun reading all about it!

Stay tuned for the next Family Countdown night w/ a special tribute to one of our favorite parks…and more planning fun: Packing and a fitting!

Julie

This night and post are dedicated to my dear DIS friend Jackie

I love it!!! You guys are the sweetest family - I love all the fun stuff you do together!!

And very sweet to dedicate your family night to Jackie! :goodvibes

Ah, Julie! You are the SWEETEST!!! You know I was all excited when I saw this post was about Star Wars family night, and I am coveting that Han Solo action figure. So much fun, you had! :yoda:;)

Here's my latest Star Wars story for you -- Saturday when I went to Walmart to buy groceries, they had the new BluRay Star Wars playing in the electronics department. It took me awhile to peel myself away and continue onward to the milk section. :lmao:

Cuuuuuute! Love the Star Wars night! My DH would so love that. He gets his light sabre out every time we watch those movies!
