I'm a lefty, so is my husband and both our kids are rightys...you should have seen us trying to teach our daughter to use scissors!

For all the leftys...if the right side of your brain controls the left side of your body and the left side of your brain controls the right side of your body..then only left handed people are in their right minds!

I'm a lefty, my dad is, paternal grandmother, both maternal grandparents (only offspring of four kids and 10 grandkids that was left handed).

I can't use left handed scissors either.

I'm a lefty, too! I've never even heard of lefty scissors... interesting! I know you can program your computer mouse to be lefty-used also.

I am however, sort of ambidextrous. I bat, golf, bowl all righty, just can't write with my right hand.

One more interesting (in my opinion anyway) about lefties....5 (possibly 7 if you include Reagan and Hoover) of the 12 presidents since WWII have been left handed. Only 10% of the population is left-handed which means statistically we should only have a left handed president every 8-10 administrations. And next year it will be 6 out of 12 no matter who wins...both McCain and Obama are lefties.
