I LOVE the Hawaiian language, listening is MUCH easier than speaking. I can say the "official fishes" name, and of course Braddah Iz's whole name. I have all of Iz's CD's and when I go to the Poly and Kaleo, the older BIG Hawaiian at the Poly, he comes over on his break at Ohana's and sings my favorite songs.
One of my favorites is Hawaiian Supa Man. I don't think I asked him to play that.

Did you know that Braddah Iz died? I think it was either last year or the year before.
I think it was actually back in 1997 or 98. He was young, 35 or so. He died at about 700 pounds of respiratory failure. He often had to perform with oxygen. His wife was very beautiful. I believe his father was from Honolulu and his mother was from Niihau.
