I know Halloween is a touchy subject for some Australians, but I love it! :goodvibes

I'm all ready for some trick or treaters and when DD wakes up I'm going to dress her up as a dalmatian puppy.

Happy Halloween.

I've just decorated the outside of my place in preparation for the kids to come round looking for candy. Seems like it's getting bigger and bigger every year and we have more and more doorknockers with each passing year.

We decorated out the front, but so far no one :-(

DD dressed up and put the costume on our dog, then took her for a long walk. No houses in our area at all.

But I hope everyone has a great night!!!

I took DS and a couple of his friends out for trick or treating and there were heaps of kids (and parents) out and about.

We love it!

Based on the number of pieces of individually wrapped candy/chocolates that I had at the start of the evening and the number that I have left, I think we had about 60 - 75 kids visit us tonight.

Most of the costumes were fantastic and even the parents were dressed up!

Hope everyone had a successful and enjoyable night.

A bit of a contrast for us. This year in Newcastle 3 kids knocked on our door, last year in Melbourne 50 plus, the year before at MNSSHP at WDW :-) .....must be time to get back to WDW time.

I only had 1 visitor at my door, but my daughter made up for that by bringing home a marvellous stash of chocolates and lollies for us to share! She and her friends were a pack of zombies!

Another good turn up this year with 155+ trick or treaters at the door! :)

Wow that's huge! We had 4 kids total, and I was tempted to send two of them away, as they weren't dressed up and just had plastic shopping bags :headache:

Next year I might put a sign up that says "If you're not in costume, don't bother!"

We love Halloween here too. I've noticed it's getting pretty popular in Australia. We had loads of kiddies knocking on our door. I made a rule this year though, no costume, no treat, but everyone was dressed up. Fun fun fun :thumbsup2
