I’m in the mood for a feel-good thread since I have been reading all the sad news about Disney layoffs. What is your happiest / funniest Disney memory?

One of mine has got to be my senior trip to WDW. We filled an entire elevator car on ToT with kids from my class. A boy had been talking about this rumor that if you held a quarter in your hand, gravity vs the force of the ride would cause the quarter to float in your hand. So all 21 of us got out quarters and prepared to be amazed. The quarters floated for maybe a second before flying all over the elevator car and bonking us in the heads haha. And the photo managed to grab that second that it floated, with all of us staring at our hands. This was back before PhotoPass and I paid the $30 or whatever to buy that photo because it was hilarious. I haven’t seen it in years, but if I ever find it again I’ll post it here.

Ah and another happy memory is my kids’ first trip to WDW. My first trip was with my Nana when I was 5, and while it was a fantastic trip, I remember a few times that my sweet Nana had to be budget-conscious and we couldn’t do all the things she wanted to do. She was sad we didn’t eat at CRT and she had wanted to stay at a monorail hotel but we ended up offsite.

For my kids’ first trip, we stayed in a castle-view room at the Contempo and ate at CRT. I felt like I had made it in life lol. Checking off my bucket list goals while experiencing the magic of my kids’ first time at WDW was amazing.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a future memory when our plane finally takes off for MCO....heading to BCV and YC!!

Loving Pooh so much that I went on it again. Meeting the princesses (and not going to Tomorrowland.) My brother beating my mom at Buzz.

Then, mom thinking Stitch was lame. If she had went on AE, she would've freaked out.

Here's another one from my second trip: Watching the Star Wars Galaxy Far Far Away show and absolutely LOSING MY MIND over Boba Fett. That was the first time I'd heard his voice. Then to top it all off, guess which scene we got on Star Tours?
