Kudos to all you dads on this Father's Day. Thanks for taking the kids camping whether it's at the Fort or near home.

Your patience may wear thin at times but keep a smile on your face and keep on camping.

Thanks Ed.

I got some special gifts today. I was awoken to a wrapped package and a trio of pretty ladies. They had bought me a new 19.2 volt craftsman cordless impact to replace the one I wore out. My wife saw me using Randy's at GSP and nailed a home run with this idea.

Then i found out she had cooked a full meal of roast and barbeque ribs.

Man it's a good day! I hate to have to go to work later on today.

Thanks and Happy fathers Day to you as well Ed, as you were just at the Fort with DD and friends if I recall correctly!

Second the thought My 2 furballs and mommy took me camping for the weekend

Thanks Ed! Happy Father's Day to you too. Was a great weekend at Lone Oak Campground (I think that's the "lone" oak in the background) here in CT...beautiful weather!!! Was wrapped up in toilet paper and covered in shaving cream! Got a cool new sign from wife and kids....not musket Mickey, but I love it!

Love the picture Jimmy. I don't know who looks happier, you or the boys! :)

We have toyed with getting one of those carved signs for the Camper. We do have one for the house though.

Thanks Ed! The three eldest kids are out of town with my parents so it was a quiet (and lonely:) ) day. Counting down the days (16!) till they come back and we leave on our camping trip (24!).

Thanks Ed, same goes for you as well,

As for Tiggerdad,

I may have or may not of have talked to Mrs Tiggerdad about that, either way in the end she gets all the credit! Haha

I received a father's day care goodies box last Thursday, it's hard to be away from your family, especially on holidays. I was sent some candy (can't go wrong there) the new Disney movie, The Finest Hours. It's a good movie, and very nice and thoughtful card from my better half and DS. And last a Amazon.com gift card to buy the enormous table we're going to need to put Flametamr's puzzle together @bama_ed's campsite next year at GSP, hahaha! Nah I'm kidding I've been wanting a Blisslight ever since I've seen folks use them at the Fort. So my DW didn't know which one to order she sent me the gift for my to buy the Blisslight I wanted.

Hmmm... That's some good influence... Perhaps you can have a chat with my DW (or not!) :smooth:

I just share the ideas and stuff I've have learned or had someone else tell me during a Camping trip. Some times it's helps or makes a great gift ideas
