Happy Day!!

Went today to renew my driver's license and for a change I was looking forward to the picture part as I wanted to see how it compared to my picture 4 years ago. Oh my gosh - I couldn't believe it - all my chins are gone!!! I truly look like a different person. The shape of my face is back and I even have cheekbones. DH and I couldn't get over the difference. Sometimes I think you have to see a picture to see how far you've really come. It felt so good and I just had to share my happy moment with all my fellow WISHers!

I just had someone say to me this morning that they could tell I was losing weight, especially in the face. It is so nice to see the roundness going away and the fact that I have cheekbones. I like cheekbones!

I bet your new license looks great. You reminded me I will need to renew mine by the end of the spring. Can't wait to see how my pic looks then!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful moment. It does feel good for people to notice, but you are right that we have to see pictures of ourselves to really see the true difference. Good for you.

I just renewed mine, too. My last license was 10 years ago and I was much thinner then so I was glad to have lost at least some weight before getting it taken again. I should have just kept the old photo with the young, slim me! When I reach my goal, I'm going to spend the money and get a new license - that way I'll HAVE to stick to that weight!

I know how you feel though...I have to live with my license for the next 4 years and it was taken when I was at my all time high!

Beanie I know how you feel as I am still quite a ways from goal. I told DH I might have to "lose" my license when I'm at goal just so I can get a new one with an even better picture.

LOL! I agree...losing my license when I am at goal might not be a bad thing!

Awesome Kaye!! I just noticed yesterday, when my id was checked at Target, that my drivers license expires 9-04. I do believe I will enjoy getting that new picture

taken!
