POTC opened in Disneyland today in 1967!! 
(Before anyone thinks I'm a wierdo for knowing that, it's on my DL calendar!

So it's 41 years old today, which as I found out would surprise a lot of youngsters these days. Amazing how many times on the ride I've over heard them comment that "They made this ride from those movies".
