Woo Hoo It is ADR day........

So as of right now....Our tentative plans are.....

Thursday Nov 22nd Arrival Day
Dinner at O'hana Got it

Friday Nov 23rd
Still discussing with DH, but I was thinking about dinner at La Hacienda Got it

Saturday Nov 24th
Lunch at 50's Prime Time or Sci Fi Got it

Sunday Nov 25th
Breakfast at O'hana Got it

Monday Nov 26th
I left this day open for DH to go to ESPN and Kaileigh and I to go to afternoon tea. Or we could try the Plaza at MK (might try for BBB this day)

Tuesday Nov 27th
Lunch at Le Cellier and Christmas Party in the evening (might try to schedule BBB for the afternoon this day or pirates league) Didn't get it No openings our entire trip so now we have lunch at Crystal Palace We are planning to go to the Christmas Party this night

Wednesday Nov 28th
Dinner at Narcoossee Got it

Thursday Nov 29th
Lunch at Crystal Palace Now its dinner at 1900 Park Fare

Friday Nov 30th
Dinner at Teppan Edo Got it

Saturday Dec 1st
Dinner at O'hana Got it

Sunday Dec 2nd
Take it easy and go home

I can not make our ADR's till the 26th so.....this could change.
DH only requests were O'hana at the beginning and end of our trips as this is our favorite place to eat. I am working on a few new places to eat this trip as well.

Woo hoo the room is painted......along with my hands....Kaileigh's toes.....and somehow the cat avoided all paint so far.....

It only took 4 hrs and that included a break. I have all the windows open upstairs to help dry and it is drying alot faster than I expected. Nice breezes today.

I really like the color she picked out. Once I get the room set up and hang her craft up I will take a picture of the color.

Monday will be spent putting her room back together and down sizing the amount of toys and clothes. My cousin's little girl will be excited because she will get the clothes. Kaileigh takes pretty good care of her stuff. She already gave her all the shoes she out grew. The toys will be another story because she has way too many as well ....(her mother would kill me if I brought all of them to her) I am very fortunate because my cousin keeps Kaileigh after school until I get home so we don't have to put her in daycare.

Yesterday I booked Kaileigh for an appointment at BBB in the castle. I booked her for the castle package this way she can pick who she wants to be. It seems to change alot here.... I am excited to see her made up into a princess. I wanted to do afternoon tea that day, but when I tried to book it I couldn't. After doing a little research I figured out they will be closed until 2013. I just can't see paying for CRT. I have us booked at 1900 Park Fare but it is later in the week. I haven't told her about booking it. I think I am going to leave her an invitation the day before when we leave the room. Her appointment is at 8am, so the will get up excited. And her hair will still be wet by the time we get to the appointment. (takes forever to dry when in a ponytail) Now I just have to see how much attention she pays because yesterday she found me on this thread and made me read our cedar point post to her....

I love your idea for posting the park hours and EMH on the back of the hotel door I can't believe I never thought of doing that. I've never been to Cedar Rapids, so it's kind of cool to get a peak at the dark side.

I just realized you have a PTR!! Pirates League if you are still considering it...the boys did it on our trip and LOVED it! I just gave them one of my makeup remover cloths that night and it came right off. As for BBB...They have a variety of sizes; however, JUST IN CASE Kaileigh (who is adorable by the way!!) has a favorite Princess you might want the dress in advance to be sure she gets what she wants. (My 2 cents for what its worth).

Thanks. Yes it is the dark side for sure. I miss disney and how it just makes you feel good. I don't have a problem waiting in line there....I love fastpass. The fast lane at cedar point you have to pay extra for and it just increased in price due to the high demand for it. I can't see paying an extra $55 a person to go to the front of the line. I think they would make a killing on food if it tasted good. I see more people picnicing than eating in the park.

Thanks. I am still looking into the pirate league as well. We found a pirate outfit online for $20 and I figure I can always look at halloween time. As far as princesses she can't seem to make up her mind at this time. So I want to hold off for now. So far daddy and I haven't spilt the beans about BBB or Little Mermaid room. So I can at least suprise her that way.

I hope Lisa is feeling alot better now. I enjoy reading your tr. You have a wonderful family.

So I finished painting Kaileigh's room on Saturday, which means we went to Soak City on Sunday. We slept in on Sunday which means 6:20am for me Kaileigh got out of bed around 8am. By that time I had everything ready to go and lunch was already packed. We left at 8:30am. We decided to stop for a sit down breakfast at a little place on our way and enjoyed breakfast. We had to stop along the way because I needed more sunscreen. I ended up getting banana boat for kids spray with 50spf. This will play a roll later. We finally got to Soak City by noon. We found some seats to dump our stuff and hit the lazy river. Man that was cold when we got in. Once we got used to it, it wasn't so bad. The first round Kaileigh rode with me in a double tube. The next round she wanted to ride by herself. I made her put on a life vest and DH rode in the double with me. After that we just went where ever she wanted to go. She crossed the lily pads. I had to hold them so she could and thank goodness the water was nice and warm in that area. She loves the big water play area with the slides and buckets that dump. By that time it was time for lunch and we sat outside in the back of the equinox to eat. Now DH understands why people pack their lawn chairs. After lunch it was time to tackle the big raft slide. She also loves the wave pool so we spent alot of time in there. Makes you realize just how sore you legs are from all the squating in her room to paint it..... After awhile we decided to head out and ended up inside Cedar Point for a few rides in the kids area. Someone last year spoiled her by starting in Soak City and ending in Cedar Point. I wouldn't know who that might be... After that it was time to head home. We ended up getting home around 8:30pm. All in all not a bad day except I now know I can not use spray on sunscreen. Needless to say I started itching on the way home and I am burnt. I picked up some sunscreen lotion today.


Speaking of today...
We worked on Kaileigh's room today. We moved everything where it goes. I have 6 bags for donations. 1 bag of toys for my little cousin. 1 bag of clothes for my cousin's daughter. We also put some bigger items out by the street with free on them. They were gone in less than an hour. And I still have some things to go thru. I took some pictures of her walls. They aren't the best but it gives you an idea.

Don't mind my shadow in that one....lol

We found some wall stickers at Wal-mart while we were grocery shopping today. She picked peace signs, flowers, and butterflies. We also picked up a butterfly fabric shower curtain along with butterfly hooks to hang over her closest. There isn't a door for it. So now she has a newly decorated room to hang out in. And alot less clutter in the rooms up there. Christopher's room has been storing alot of her stuff.

I don't like doing this ... but I have 2 ADRs for Friday Nov 23. I have La Hacienda for 5pm and Ohanas for 8. I did this just incase of free dining. We want to eat at Ohanas the day we arrive, but from what I can tell that night will not be offered. There is no way I want to pay out of pocket. I figured we could just order in Flipper's Pizza or hit the food court at AoA for dinner the night we arrive if we do get free dinning. If we don't get free dinning I will just cancel Ohanas on Friday night. If we do I will cancel La Hacienda. I will cancel before we leave as soon as I know one way or the other. I just feel bad for tying up a spot.

I don't see anything wrong with what you're doing, you plan on canceling if it doesn't work out. Who knows, you might make a fellow Diser very happy, if you post the canceled reservation on the cancellation board.

I love how your DD's room turned out. That color is very similar to the one we have in our living room.

Thanks she really likes it. I keep trying for the free dining. It starts on 11/23 which I can handle and just have a room for the 22nd. I would love to try a royal room that night if I can talk DH into it.

I'm hoping for free dining too. The pin dates that I've seen floating around has us making the cut by one day. Now we'll have to see if that's released to the public.

I'm thinking about trying one of the royal rooms too when we go next May.

So for Thanksgiving we will either order a flipper's pizza or eat in the food court of AoA. Either way no problem. I saved us over $1000. So excited now.
