Wheee! So excited. DH and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary on 11/11, and had originally booked a cruise for that week. The cruise was 12 nights though...a little longer than we wanted to be away from our 6 year old, who will be in first grade. Yesterday, out of the blue, DH started looking at Disney. We ended up cancelling our cruise this morning and booking 7 nights at AKL, club level, 11/7-11/14!
The deciding factor was that I had vaguely remembered receiving an email from Disney Destinations a couple weeks ago...searching my mail, I found a pin code that gave us free dining on a non-free dining week, so then my DH, who is obviously possessed by a spirit from another world at this point, upgraded us to the Deluxe Dining plan!
Now, of course I generally plan these trips a year or so in advance, so I was more than a little concerned about the dining situation...no need to worry, I got everything I wanted! I'm so excited about getting to try all the signature restaurants....Brown Derby, Narcoossee's, Jiko, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Artist Point, California Grill and Flying Fish! I even got us the Princess Breakfast at Akershus, on the day and at the time we wanted....miraculous
