I cried, that was beautiful. To all the artists, musicians, technicians and engineers who worked very hard to make art for us for the pure enjoyment of it, you did an awesome job and I appreciate you:flower3: Going to be SO sweet seeing it in 35 days with friends and family that I love so much!! :donald:

Jealous. Enjoy

Visually was stunning. But lacked the story and emotion and the flow of wishes.
Could be wrong but I think the emotion and feeling takes some time. I have said before that I don't believe I had much emotional reaction to Wishes the first viewing but certainly did as time past

That might be true for some, but not me. Wishes got me right away. There just isn't a real story to this, there is no emotional current that runs through the whole show. The projection clips seem almost randomly strung together and the shifts from one segment to another are often abrupt and cold instead of smooth transitions, and there is nothing that seems to tie the segments togethet. There us one section toward the end for about 2 mins that was on to something, but that was really it. Otherwise it was random movie clips and fireworks. Visually impressive, but there isn't even a story to grow on you if you wanted it to.

I don't disagree at first watch. I can't argue with your points. We will see as time evolves. I guess my perspective is that us DISers have a higher standard than most and certainly higher than what I had the first time I saw Wishes. Minimally I appreciate the effort to come up with a new show and to put some muscle behind it.

the dis video of this is outstanding!!!
don't bother with any of the other videos..
the dis has a perfect view and is in extremely high quality...

after watching the dis version, i definitely think the show is pretty awesome...
really nice coordination of the projections, lighting and fireworks....nicely done...

watch this one and you'll have a much better idea of what the show's like than from the disney video

Posted on another thread, but say again here...watched it on another site with a full view of everything.

I'm in awe. That was amazing just on my monitor. I'm always the one who doesn't really care about the nighttime shows and goes on rides during them.

I am beside myself at this point trying to make sure we see this in October!!!

I really like this!

I was there with my wife and we had an amazing view.

1. Sensory overload. You can't watch everything at once and it made the whole thing too cluttered. In fact, the fireworks took a major backseat to the "movie trailers".
2. No Jiminy was really disappointing.
3. What is up with all of these C level movies? Moana got more time than Frozen? Tianna and Mulan? The Hunchback? Barely any Cinderella, on her own castle no less? Barely any Snow White? No Seven Dwarfs? They have the most popular ride in the park!
4. A timeless and heartwarming fireworks show was turned into an overproduced overindulgent mishmash of technology. Just because you have the ability does not mean you have jam all of it into a 15 minute show.

Some of it was entertaining..... but in the end I wasn't left with the feeling of whimsy and wonder that Wishes had.

The production of this thing was way too much.

I thought the show was disney finally getting that they are out of touch with the current generation and their young children.. It is perfect for the millennials with lots of disposable income. this is the disney they grew up on.

wishes don't really get you forward in life. Overcoming obstacles to live happily ever after does.

Just watched the replay of the live. I really liked it, it was way better than Ignite The Dream/Disney Illuminations. But it's not as good as Disney Dreams (which was clearly the inspiration for this show). It's maybe a little too bombastic at times, too many movies are mixed together, and you don't know where to focus. But it still works, though; the opening and ending are awesome.

I also hope that people will stay seated every night. With all the projections, it's much more enjoyable for everyone this way, especially the children.

I'm still reserving final judgment until I see it in person. However to me it does look pretty but bloated and I dislike the music. It wasn't made for me though.

It is hard to compare emotion of a first viewing, online vs multiple video wings with your family on the middle of main st

I do like the message and some of the lines like "be brave enough to listen, be bold enough to pursue" are pretty good
