We finally found Soarin and rode it. And loved it, of course! There was only like a 20 minute wait, which wasn't bad! While we were in The Land Pavilion, we also did the Living With the Land boat ride and the Circle of Life show. I was really bummed about the Circle of Life show though, because I thought we were actually going to see The Festival of the Lion King! Didn't realize that they were 2 different shows! Or in 2 different parks!:rotfl: It was cute though!

After that, we headed over to World Showcases, and we decided to stop at the first counter service restaurant that looked good!

Here's some pics taken from across the lagoon.

We ended up having lunch at Cantina De San Angel. OMG, so fabulous!!! We talked about this meal almost the entire trip! We both got the Plato Combinacion, which included a Chicken taco, Beef burrito and a Quesadilla served with Black refried beans and Mexican salsa. The quesadilla was to die for. I'm so serious about this! The chicken taco was excellent too. The burrito was ok, I'm not much of a bean person, but DH loved it. We also got churros, which were delicious too!

And of course you can't go to "Mexico" without getting a margarita, right??

ImportedPhotos00098.jpg

Some nice lady (or guy, I can't remember) saw me struggling to get a picture of the both of us together, so he offered to take it for us. So nice!

Much better!
ImportedPhotos00099.jpg

We also did the Grand Fiesta Tour Featuring the Three Caballeros!

After that, we were off to finish our tour of the countries...

Continuing on....

The next place we stopped for pictures was Japan! (Or is this China?)

ImportedPhotos00100.jpg

I spotted Mulan with a very short line for pictures, so we stopped!

ImportedPhotos00101.jpg

She was way cooler than Aurora!

ImportedPhotos00102.jpg

Next was China (unless I got them mixed up and this is really Japan?)

America
ImportedPhotos00107.jpg

Not really sure what this was?
ImportedPhotos00106.jpg

We found a good view of the Epcot "Ball" and got a pic in front of it.

ImportedPhotos00104.jpg

DH throwin gang signs like a dork!:rotfl2:

ImportedPhotos00105.jpg

Ok, I'm realizing that I'm a really bad Trip Reporter, because I can't remember where this was?

ImportedPhotos00103.jpg

Bonus points if you know! I'm guessing Italy?

DH was super excited to find a snack counter selling Baklava! I got a huge chocolate chip cookie! 2 snack credits gone!

ImportedPhotos00112.jpg

Ok, I know where this is at... there's the Eiffel Tower!

ImportedPhotos00113.jpg

I actually couldn't tell you where this was at either...
ImportedPhotos00114.jpg

Wow, I forgot so much in as little as a month!!:rolleyes1

After our tour of the countries, we cheesed for some photopass photographers:

We had some time to kill before our Coral Reef ressies, so we checked out some gift shops, and we rode the big "Ball", Spaceship Earth! We basically walked right on!

ImportedPhotos00116.jpg

More cool topiaries:

ImportedPhotos00115.jpg

Next we headed over to The Living Seas to check out the Nemo ride before dinner.

ImportedPhotos00123.jpg

ImportedPhotos00122.jpg

The ride was kinda cute. Maybe not quite worth the wait though...

ImportedPhotos00117.jpg

ImportedPhotos00118.jpg

ImportedPhotos00119.jpg

I loved the manitee part of the exhibit! Whenever I was little, we lived in the wonderful state of Florida, and my dad would take us to see the manitees! I hadn't seen one since then!

ImportedPhotos00120.jpg

This poor little guy had his fin stuck in a propeller, and it was all chopped up.:sad1: I'm so glad Disney's taking care of him though!

ImportedPhotos00121.jpg

We decided to just head over to Coral Reef, even though we were almost an hour early.

ImportedPhotos00124.jpg

Luckily, they were able to seat us within 15 minutes or so.

ImportedPhotos00125.jpg

I always wanted to go here ever since that Full House episode where Danny was going to propose to Vicki here.:rotfl: I believe that was interrupted by Joey and Jesse scuba diving.

Anyways, the food here was excellent! DH got the salmon and I got the chicken with risotto. (Sorry, once again, no food pics). I can't remember what we got for dessert, but I think it was some sort of chocolate cake.

I did get a pic of my fun drink though, which was included in the DDP!

ImportedPhotos00126.jpg

After dinner, we left Epcot to go back to the hotel to get ready for Cirque! But first I stopped for a pic with Alice!

ImportedPhotos00127.jpg

Here we are on the boat back to the hotel:

ImportedPhotos00128.jpg

We had tickets for the 9:00 Cirque Du Soleil show, and we left super early because I wanted to make sure we got there in time. Well, we ended up sitting on the steps outside of Cirque for about an hour before they even let us inside... we were THAT early! They didn't allow pics inside the show, so this is all I've got for you...

ImportedPhotos00129.jpg

ImportedPhotos00130.jpg

If you haven't seen a Cirque Du Soliel show, it's a MUST DO! It's just so amazing, there aren't even words to describe it!! This is the second Cirque show I've seen. The first one was in Toronto, and it was equally as awesome. I know alot of people don't want to use their Disney time/money on this, but there's traveling shows, so if it comes to your hometown, please go! You will not regret it!

Next up: Day 3 - Breakfast at CRT, MK, lounging in Stormalong Bay and lunch at Hurricane Hannas, HS, and Sci-Fi Dine In!! Stay tuned!

Angela, love your pictures! Seabreeze Point is breathtaking!

I love your shorts. What brand? I'm promising myself some new clothes when I lose 6 more pounds!

Thank you!! The shorts are from New York & Company. Good luck with the 6 pounds!!

Lovin' your TR so far! :goodvibes The pictures are great. Looks like you had a lot of fun. And fyi (nerd alert ahead) Danny was interrupted at Coral Reef because he got a call on a gigantic cordless phone that Michelle was lost :thumbsup2

oh, I loved the full house references. It used to be my favorite tv show. That just made me realize life is moving way too fast!

Love your pics. Looks like the weather was wonderful.
EPCOT looks to be a really nice park, especially the world showcase area.

2 weeks and 1 day till your wedding!!!! How exciting!!!

You are so right!! I couldn't remember why that got interrupted!! Joey and Jesse were in there at some point though, right?? Maybe for their radio show??:confused3

Full House was my favorite too! I swear, I've seen every episode about 10 times!:lmao:

The weather was perfect ever single day!! We couldn't have been luckier!:yay: And the World Showcases was awesome! I wish we would have spent more time eating there!:rotfl2:

Wow! What a great update!

You saw Mulan in China and the drummers in Japan... :thumbsup2 It was backwards but thats ok! Just remember Mulan saved China not Japan! :rotfl: I'm jealous you got to see her! I waited and waited for her when we were there and I never saw her!! I :lovestruc Mulan!

I agree that the Nemo ride is cute, but not worth the wait so much. We actually walked right on but later the line was HUGE! I would have been disappointed if we wait a long time for it.

You crack me up about Full House! I love the Disney World episodes! :rotfl:

You guys got some great pictures!

I'm glad Cirque Du Soleil was fantastic. We were bummed that we did not do it... before vacation we were debating it for a long time and passed it up, but once we got there we wished we did it.

Oh! and Stormalong Bay looks so neat! Makes me wanna stay at the Beach Club... I can't wait for your next update! I was having Angela withdrawals!! :cutie:

I've actually never seen Mulan!!!! So I don't really know the story. I know, I can't believe it either! It's one of the few Disney movie's I've never seen!

Ya, Nemo was cute, but since it we were kinda new to the whole Disney thing, we did alot of things that would could have skipped, and didn't get the chance to do things that we REALLY wanted to do... like Test Track! Yep, we didn't do it. :( Oh well, there's always next time, right?

I seem to raise my dork flag alot with the Full House Disney World episode references! LOL.:rolleyes1

You definately should see Cirque next time you go. Or check their traveling tour and see if they're coming to your city! It won't be La Nouba, but I'm sure it will still be awesome! I know they're coming to Pgh in like January/Feb 2010. I already told DH we ARE DEFINATELY going!!!

I usually tend to be a lurker, but I just had to tell you something. I had read through your report last night, and laughed at all the Full House references (I love those two episodes!). Well, imagine my surprise today when I looked at the Full House episodes on ABC Family today and they were in Disney World :)

I'm anxious to read the rest of your report!

Hi...just wanted to say that I love reading your trip report! We Honeymoon at WDW in 06 and stayed at AKL. It was wonderful! DH planned the whole thing and splurged for a Savannah View room. Everyone thought we were crazy for going to WDW on honeymoon but we are not beach people so what else is there?! And now we're both addicted. Planning on going back this October for our 3rd anniversary and to celebrate DD 1st bday.

Cant wait to read more!

Looks like a great trip. I love your room at the Beach Club.

I'm really interested in your report because I will be in WDW for my honeymoon in September. We're from Pittsburgh too :yay:

Can't wait to read the rest.

also looking forward to reading the TR... and we will also be in WDW for our honeymoon in September!!! :cool1:

Great updates!! no worries - -I have never seen Mulan either. The other pictures are in front of Italy. The Doges Palace and you were in front of the Trevi Fountain.:thumbsup2

You guys look so cute in your pictures. I am with you on having my margherita in mexico. I also go for the lime. It is delicious. I will have to try the rainbow next time. I am back there again in two weeks. I cannot believe it!

Wow, that is so funny!!! I wish I would have known it was on, I would have DVRed it!!:rotfl:

Next time we go, I would LOVE to stay at AKL, with a Savannah View of course. I don't think it would be worth it without it!! That is so sweet you're celebrating your daughters first birthday!!! And happy anniversary!!

also looking forward to reading the TR... and we will also be in WDW for our honeymoon in September!!! :cool1:

Awesome!! You will have so much fun!!

Ohh, I was thinking it was Italy, but I wasn't sure! Thank you! The margarita's in Mexico were fabulous on a hot day! I got the mixed one so I could try them all, and DH had strawberry, which was probably my favorite!! I'm so jealous you'll be there in 2 weeks!! I can't wait to go back!

Thank you! I'm going to need the good luck (and will power)!

I'm glad Mulan was cool!

You're welcome!! I have no will power. I actually just went through my closet last weekend and got rid of all my "skinny" clothes that I hoped to fit into again someday. I figured if I couldn't find the will power to do it for my own wedding, than I never will! Oh well! :rotfl:

hey girl! Not sure how I missed so much, I thought I subbed:confused3! Anyways, the Aurora totally left me feeling very weirded out... I can only imagine how weird you felt as you were a part of it lol!

You guys had a few fun filled days huh? I can't believe how much you did on only your first day after waking up at 3am! Your a true disney trooper:goodvibes

Well... Angela and Matt...congrats on your wedding and your disneymoon...looks like you had a great time...I love the part about the princess characters..kinda funny to think of them as living only in their "disney" world..and not knowing anything of the "real" world.

My wife and I are going to WDW for our 19th wedding anniversary in Aug....and taking our 4 children.....I've been to WDW back in '83,long time....but no one else has been before..hoping it will be a great trip..trying to plan a little magic down there for Kat and me....well anyways...loving the trip report so far.

I'm giving it :thumbsup2:thumbsup2!!!

Mike
