I am so bummed the food was so-so at BOMA; it has been GREAT everytime we were there and I am a FOODIE; so it's hard to impress me! A friend of mine that was there just last week told me she saw major changes in customer service and food throughout the parks - chalk it up to the economy I suposse!!(

Thanks!! I didn't know Tom Cruise owned it! That explains why Suri gets to stay in the suite at Cinderella's Castle!!

You will love the Beach Club! Especially because you'll get to use the pool!

Thanks!! Hmmm, I can't remember the name of the drink...It was on the front of the drink menu though! It was a fruity alcoholic drink.

Ya, I was really excited for Boma because I've read so many great reviews about it!! It wasn't horrible or anything, it's just not somewhere that we'd go to again. Maybe for breakfast, just not for dinner. Unless I was really hungry for chicken nuggets.

I noticed you at Hurricane hannas by the Beach Club pool, and I remember thinking, "Oh, how awesome, they must be on thier honeymoon!" I always notice honeymoon couples, b/c that's where DH and I went on our honeymoon, and all our friends made fun of us! Anyway, I saw you both again later in the week- we were sitting right next to you guys at Le Cellier!!!! TOO FUNNY!!! I stumbled upon this trip report, and when you said you stayed at the Beach Club, I knew it had to be you that I saw!! Hope you guys had an awesome trip-we did!!!!

Thank you!! Ahh, this is kinda weird, but I remember the family sitting right next to us at Le Cellier!!! Was your DH wearing a shirt or hat or something Pitt or Penn State?? My DH commented on everybody we saw in Pittsburgh gear!

Oh, and we were definately made fun of for going to Disney World for our honeymoon!! People just don't get it!

The Beach Club looks soo great! You took some really awesome pictures!

I can't believe the front desk told you that route to get to AKL! It sounds long! I'm glad they were able to get you an hour late though! Good job! You hear so many great things about Boma. I'm sorry it wasn't that great. It made me laugh that one of your faves was the chicken nuggets! Oh and the mango dressing does not sound friendly! I would like to try the Boma Breakfast next time we go. I would love to stay there!


Dont you just love Hollywood Studios at night?? I think there is nothing better than the Tower of Terror at night! (which maybe you guys did later..) I like the Great Movie Ride but I think a lot of it depends upon the tour guide you get... hilarious that you guys left! If it was just the movie I would have left too!

With the name change Disney said they changed it to fit the park more due to it's old hollywood theme and to become more modern... however mgm and disney had a big ol' legal dispute and fallign out which is why most believe it changed. Everything was going from Disney/MGM to Disney/Pixar. It is neat to realize just how many movies out there are "disney" movies because Touchstone, Miramax, and Hollywood Pictures are all disney affiliates.

I can't wait for more! I am so bummed we didn't do Cirque De Soleil!! Was it amazing??

They definately told us the long way to AKL! The boat is nice and everything, but it's far from fast! When you're in a hurry, it seems like it moves in slow motion. We definately should have taken a cab. Or, what would have made more sense is if we planned Boma the day that we were at Animal Kingdom, and we could have went there right after. But oh well, it all worked out!

Yes, my TR is moving along very slowly, I've been so busy lately! I thought after the wedding, I'd have so much free time, but it's not working out that way!

Actually, I wore them like a couple hours on the first day, and that's it. They were a pain. You won't be seeing them again in this trippie.

Day 2 we woke up bring and early to go to Epcot... not early enough for the morning EMH, but early enough for me.

We took the boat from the resort over to Epcot, which was a lovely ride. Although, I think I said this before, it's much quicker to just walk. But the boats still nice and relaxing.

I took some pics from the dock while we were waiting for the boat to come pick us up.

This ship is actually really cool, I didn't notice until 1/2 way through the trip that this was actually a slide into stormalog bay. Pretty neat, huh?

Then of course, Seabreeze Point looking beautiful as always...

The boat dropped us off at the enterance in World Show cases, but there wasn't really much open yet.

My bad sense of direction was trying to find the way to Soarin!

We stopped for some pics along the way. The Flower and Garden Festival was going on, so everything looked absolutely beautiful.
