Hello everybody! This is my first ever Trip Report, so bear with me!;)

I'm Angela, I am a 26 year old asbestos litigation paralegal from Pittsburgh, PA with a love for animals and everything Disney.princess:

Matt, my DH, is a 25 year old mechanical designer and former tattoo artist, also from Pittsburgh, who loves his harley and had never been to Disney in his life!

We were married in Pittsburgh on April 25, 2009.

(If interested, you can find more info about my wedding in my wedding planning journal... more pics are coming soon)

There were many decisions to made during the wedding planning process, but the easiest one to make was where we would go for our honeymoon!! I hadn't been there since like 1997 and had been itchin to go back for quite sometime, and Matt always said that if we ever got married, he'd go with me for our honeymoon! After almost 3 years of dating and a wedding, we finally made it to WDW!:yay::yay::yay:

Whenever people asked us where we were going on our honeymoon, we always got so many strange looks. People thinking "why the heck would you want to go to Disney World for a honeymoon??" Well, here's my reasoning... first of all, like I said I LOVE Disney, and because Matt had never been there, I felt like he needed to experience it! And what better time is there to do so? Also, Matt is not much of a beachy person and the big bummer is that he's allergic to chlorine, so a tropical island was out. So duh! Disney's the obvious choice here!

So anyways, here's the details of our fabulous honeymoon:

When: April 27th-May 4th

Where: Beach Club Resort

Dining: Boma, Coral Reef, Cinderella's Royal Table, Sci-Fi Dine In, T-Rex, Chef Mickey's, Ohana, Cape May, Le Cellier, and Captain's Grill... plus many counter service meals!

Anything else?? Cirque Du Soleil La Nouba!!!

Thanks for reading!!:flower3:

You guys have no idea how excited I was to go to Disney Word! Ok, maybe you do since you're all Disney lovers like myself, but it had been over 10 years since I was last there, that's a LONG time!

Like I said in my first post, we were married on Saturday, April 25th. We didn't leave for Disney until Monday, April 27th, because I wanted to have Sunday to visit with and say good bye to our out of town guests, finish up packing, relax, and spend some time with our dogs Oliver and Ellie before they went off to stay with their grammy and pappy for the week. I'm so glad we had the day in between, but I couldn't wait to get to Disney!!

All day Sunday I was trying to decide if I should go to sleep or not. Our flight was leaving the Pittsburgh airport at 6:55 am, then you need to be at the airport 2 hours ahead of time so we were at 4:55, then we're about an hour away from the airport so we'd have to leave by 3:55, and I wanted to give myself 2 hours to get ready and pack everything that I needed in the morning, so I would have to set my alarm for 2:55!! Sometimes I think I'm better off with no sleep at all than having to wake up that early. However, by the end of the night, I was so tired I needed sleep... but I didn't end up going to bed until midnightish, so I got about 3 hours of sleep.

Monday morning we were suprisingly running right on schedule! :cheer2: Here we are at the airport waiting for the plane:

Our flight was also right on time! We were in Orlando by 9:00.

We were taking the Magical Express to Disney, which made me very nervous since it was our first time! I was afraid we wouldn't find the bus, or we'd miss it, or it would lose our luggage or something! But there's sign's everywhere, so it's kinda hard to miss!

ImportedPhotos00008.jpg

Beach Club, that would be us!!

ImportedPhotos00009.jpg

Woo hoo! We made it to the magical express!!!:yay:

ImportedPhotos00011.jpg

I was so excited for the video they played on the bus! It got me even more excited, if that was even possible! And it made the ride seem so much shorter than it was!

I even put on my ears!

Finally, we were there!!

When we pulled up to the Beach Club, I was amazed by how beautiful it was!! They dropped us off right at the door, of course!

Since it was only about 10:00 am, I wasn't sure if we'd be able to check in or not, but luckily our room was ready!!! I don't know this for sure, maybe someone here can confirm, but I think we got a room upgrade. We booked a standard room, and when I booked our travel agent said that standard rooms only have 2 queen beds, and to have a king we would have to upgrade, and being my cheap self, I said nevermind. But when we got to our room, there was a king bed!

After we were all settled, we were ready to go catch the bus to Magic Kingdom!! We headed to the lobby, but apparently went though the wrong doors.

We ended up on the side with the lake, so while we tried to find our way around, I took some pictures...

After walking around for a while, we finally found a bus stop... the Yacht Club's bus stop! We still had no idea where to catch the bus from the Beach Club, but we didn't care, we just wanted to get to MAGIC KINGDOM.....:earsboy::earsboy:
