After a light rest, we all decided to go back to Epcot for the evening. The lights were quite nice during the day, but they were absolutely stunning at night.
The "snowflake" lights. I don't know exactly what these lights were supposed to be, but I think of them as "snowflakes"
The Christmas Tree at night
We also had our picture taken under the Christmas tree, but they came out too dark.

We stopped for dinner at the Canadian kiosk for Eggnog, Beefstew and an ale. While it was all very good, I like the eggnog the best

The beefstew was a little smokey for my taste, I prefered the goulash in Germany. We also did a lot of shopping - I purchased some Christmas presents for my family. My mother and brother weren't due to arrive for the wedding until Tuesday night.
The Italian Santa Clause
We stopped at the American Adventure to take a quick peek inside. Daniel is a HUGE achitecture and antique buff - so he was absolutely in awe of this building. Which, I agree with. He decided at that point that we were all going to build a house that looked like the AA building and live in there together.

I wouldn't mind having a house that size - as long as I didn't have to clean it....
Inside the AA
Inside the AA, a CM asked Daniel if he had had a phone call that day for his birthday...

So, he received a "Birthday Wish" phone call from Goofy. Then, the CM mentioned my "Just Married" button and asked where my groom was. BG was outside eating his kaki-gori that he had purchased in Japan. The CM asked him to come inside, then we recived the wedding message from Mickey and Minnie and a "Magical Moments" certificate from the CM. That was the first time all day a CM had noticed our buttons - that would be a repeat pattern for the remainder of our stay.
As part of the planning, I asked BG before we left for this trip how he felt about the CP package. He thought we could just do what we did last year and get in the standby line to see the show. This year, when he saw that the "Standby" line started in 3 countries down - he wasn't too sure. So, while we had stopped at the AA, I went over to the CP Information desk to see if there were any ADRs left for the week. NOTHING!! There was not an ADR to be found at any of the restaurants for any of the show times. So, while we would try to get there, it didn't look like we would be seeing CP on this trip. This really made me upset - FMIL didn't see it last year on the trip, and Daniel had never seen it. So, I really wanted the CP to be one of the highlights of their trip.
We stopped in Norway for a school bread - which we all attacked so fast I didn't get to take a picture of...

Then, it was back to the GF - BG loves to stay Concierge. We have splurged for it on previous trips - so he always looks forward to the evening dessert offerings. While they are all very good, they are always the same. One thing about staying CL - the food offerings don't give you much variety from the previous trips. If you found something you liked on another trip, more than likely you will having it again on a future trip....
