You are all SO brave to drive to Florida (this is coming from a mother of five - we drove from Oregon to Florida in 1994 with no air conditioning in our van, We were moving to Florida & hoped to take our kids to WDW but sadly my hubby died of a heart attack in the motel room and he never got to visit WDW)!! - sorry for the story!!

When double checking our car rental, we found out Avis had a mix up, and rented us a vehicle they didn't have! Of course, as luck would have it, the Hansell family vacation was planned for Thanksgiving weekend, aka, the busiest travel days of the year, and nowhere had the 12 passenger van we needed. We decided we would just have to take our own van. With that decision came the plan to just leave the next day. So we did. Good thing our bags had been packed for months......

OMG! That's both horrible and fabulous at the same time! We had a car rental mix up as well but didn't find out until pick up and ended up cramming a week's worth of stuff into a compact car. Doesn't get painful until about the 9th hour of the kids "Can you move that? It's bothering me."

Keep the pics coming! I need something to get me through until my next WDW fix.

Loved your window display! I liked the Phillies' Mickey heads in those colors. I'm planning on putting a huge green Mickey head in our window at BWV (we have boardwalk view and can't wait to sit and watch the sun rise each morning over the lake).

Seeing your kids brings back fond memories of when our kids were young and had so much fun playing in the pool. Hard to believe my youngest is 17 years old and he will finally be visiting WDW for the first time in a couple of months!! I'm more excited than he is lol. He said the other day that he wants to just relax the first day to go swimming. Yeah...like that's going to happen

okay, boardwalk view...im totally jealous! And I cant tell you how many times my husband lamented about the fact that we were in disney world and all the kids wanted to do was swim!! In their defense, disney world has some pretty awesome pools!
