I am through planning everything and I am in sort of the "there's nothing left to do but wait and pack " stage, so I am reading trip reports to live vicariously through others planning!! I am on a mission for Hannah Montanna too. My DD is Hannah obsessed, We don't need no stinkin princesses!! We have exactly 44 days and counting. Enjoying your report.

Thanks Kim! I've pretty much planned everything too but I'm sure it will all be tweaked. I really wish they did have HM stuff in the parks but oh well. It looks like you will be there at the ame time. Where are you staying?

Here are a couple more pictures I took today. I went to get Cooper some new Crocs since I found out he wears 11 1/2-12 and I was shoving his feet into size 10 1/2, oops. I took him to Payless first since he needed sneakers too (bad mommy!) and he liked the Shrek ones which don't have Jibbitz holes. Why don't Crocs come in size 11-12???!!! The 12-13's were WAY too big on him. He really wanted red ones but saw the green and blue Mickey ones and liked those better but the Shrek ones totally won over the bunch. Plus they were size 12 so they fit perfectly. These are my Dad's Walmart crocs, his Silver Cloud had to be returned so we are waiting for the right size.

I love all the pictures of crocs.DS11 had a friend over recently and he left calling us the croc family.They are EVERYWEHERE!

Thanks for subbing! Have you eaten at any of the restaurants? The only one I've been to is Crystal Palace so I'm excited to try the others.

Out of the ones you have picked I have eaten at Crystal Palace,SciFi, and Whispering Canyon Cafe.We liked all of them alot.We had burgers and shakes at Sci Fi which were delicious.The portions are HUGE so we will definitely share if we go back.Whispering Canyon was a blast too.The kids loved the atmosphere and we got the skillet that was really good.
This trip we are trying Kona,Coral Reef and Akershus but for breakfast.I can let you know how they are when I get back.22 days left!!

Isn't the Mimimed pump great makes life so much easier. I was on it till we switched insurances...back on shots for a long while now. And it is finally covered so going to try to go back on it.

What a good looking family you have....I am going with my dad and DD in January and leaving DH home he has to work...but he is coming with us in

NOV so he will be happy.

My DD loves her crocs and wore them all last week and was great for the rain!

Cannot wait to read more!

Aren't they adorable?! My niece has the Hello Kitty ones from Payless. I got my Dad the coffee cup Jibbitz the other day and he got a big kick out of it.

I ate at Sci-fi years ago but can't remember if I liked the food. The atmosphere is SO cool! I can't wait to try WCC, Bella goes through ketchup like no ones bizniz and she freaks out when she sees any of their ketchup pics.

He LOVES the pump and has had it for 8 years now. He is so much more controlled now with it, not that he doesn't get high or low but that is usually out of stupidity Good luck getting back on it! That's so cool you and your Dad are taking your dd, it'll be a special memory. My Dad can be a huge pain and all that but I CANNOT wait to see his reaction to everything!

I am glad I found your thread. My DS7 is type 1 and it will be interesting to follow your 2 diabetics. (And nevermind the fact that I can get my Disney fix as well!! LOL!)

DS has just been on the Minimed pump about 1 month now, he really likes it. There have been a few problems, but hopefully they will work themselves out soon.

Thanks for reading! He (and you) will LOVE the pump as soon as you are all used to it. Do you have to change his site for him? It took Pierre some getting used to but he is a VERY active guy and it has never gotten in the way. He plays ice hockey, tennis, basketball and works out so don't feel like your ds is limited. Is it the Minimed pump or another type. If you ever have an questions you can pm me and I'll pass on the message! Stay tuned!

Love your pre-trip report! My daughter is also a Hannah Fan...to the point of obsession. She is a card carrying member of Mileyworld. She is headed back from camp in NC tomorrow and I just learned that Hannah will be in south Florida for a concert performance as part of her upcoming tour. Its been years since I tried to get good concert seats but I'll be in the fray when they go on sale!

FYI, southwest out of Hartford has always been great. We used to live in CT and used them all the time.

So we are now officially into the thirties and here's the gang with their Mickey heads!!!! 38 days!

So there are a few things I want to try this year after reading other trip reports. Okay, there are really hundreds of things but I MUST whittle that list down! I keep looking at TGM and boy is that EVER overwhelming! One of my park days coincides with a "do not go that day" but I already made my dining ressies (ahem, several times over) and can't be bothered to change them again. It's an MGM or DHS as it is now known, and we aren't doing the thrill rides that day anyways so.... I can't see it being too much of a problem especially since it's in Sept.

Some of my wants are Spectromagic which I've been iffy on but SO many people say it's a must. We are eating at Coral Reef for dinner that day and now that I think about it I should see if we can eat earlier. Our ressies are at 6:10 so I don't think we'll make it to MK by 8. What do you guys think? When we went to Disney last year we had a crappy viewing area for Wishes so this time I want to get a good spot and not worry about rushing outta there. Another thing I want to check out is Fantasmic which Lesley, of TimandLesley fame, made to sound so good. We are eating at Kona one night and I want to hang out on the beach afterwards and see the water parade followed by Wishes. I'd like to check out the Poly too. We went to the Luau 5 years ago and I wasn't that impressed with it. We were in the BACK row, the food was whipped at us and taken away just as fast, the show was cute though. I lived in Hawaii when I was in my early 20's so kept comparing in my brain.... If we ever see that show again i'll make sure I get REALLY good seats. Of course I've always been "one of them" but now I know better. I am on a mission this time! I really wish Bella wanted to see La Nouba since that eans I'll have to miss out. Bob, Pierre and Cooper will be the only ones going. Here's Coop holding his pride and joy!

Here are the kids posing with their lanyards which is something I didn't really know about until last year when we were in MGM. Bella was desperate to spend her money (of course) and kept talking about these "necklace things" people were wearing. She pointed one out so I finally got it and she found the Princess one in the Mickey Hat store. During the trip she got 4 pins and that great big dangly thing that weighs about a pound, LOL! I got her the Hannah Montana lanyard for her birthday from Claires, which has a great selection of HM stuff cheap. Don't get HM stuff from Limited Too which is Limited Too MUCH in my opinion! I got Cooper the POC lanyard from the $1 bin at Target a while ago. Why can't he let me take a normal pic?

Here's a picture of Pierre holding his pump. His ratio is 1 unit for every 15 carbs. If he is high he uses 1 unit to reduce it 25 points.

She's going to be checkin' out the world with us! this JUST came out. I was stalking TRU for the last 3 days, you parents know how it is.... I kept calling from different phones to see if it came in yet. We stopped in this morning an no dice so we swung by Target and JACKPOT! The lady was putting them out on the shelves. Yeah, baybee!

We are finally going to get to Home Depot tonight and get some mickey heads, I am going to take everything they have.

Have you checked out Ebay to buy pins cheaper than at Disney, they are good ones to trade with.

Just have to make sure they say they are official trading pins, but well worth it. We got ours for about 2.10 a pin including shipping. Alot cheaper than the 7 dollars and up pins at disney.

I made dh get the last batch of Mickey Heads, I always feel a little guilty! I am definetly going to check out Ebay for pins. My Disney Store only has a handfull and I'm not sure how much they are.
