Oh, pre season hockey starts tomorrow.

We are very excited! I can now think "this time next week...I'll be at Epcot" I JUST put the labels on my suitcases and threw some suff in like sunlotion, bug spray, bandaids etc. Cooper caught me though, so that meant I had to pack a couple of his things

Just wanted to say I've been reading your posts for a while now and can't believe you are going so soon!! You must all be so excited!
I have 2 kids, a girl 8, who sounds just like Bella, and also a huge Hannah Montana fan and a boy of 3 who is my baby, so I have been following your posts because your family reminds me of my own in a lot of ways!
Your kids look like they had lots of fun with the countdown chart, I must make one of those. We go April 2008 and I cant wait for it to be here!

Thanks for reading! I can't believe it's so soon either but I've been really busy the last couple of weeks so it's flying by (thankfully!) Your kids will LOVE doing the countdown chart! Are you going to start a pretrip?

Wow its coming so fast. I think this week has gone by faster than any of the other weeks so far. Your at 6 days!!!

I still havent packed anything. Wont be able to till sunday. We attempted to work on th t-shirts last night but did not make enough progress on those.

Leyla-- a bit off topic. So my brothers and I are thinking of getting my parents tix to Wicked for Xmas. The cheapest I've found for decent seats are about 150/person. We would get them 4 tix so they could invite friends to go. Plus many a gift card for a restaurant in the area. So I am asking the musical fan this question:

Would you spend about 800 to get the 'rents these tix OR

Would you buy them tix to 2-3 shows at the Orange County Performing Arts Center for waaay cheaper. These shows max out at about 80/person, but are musicals who have National Touring Companies so are high level....

Okay back on topic.....

Boy, that's ALOT for not being in NYC!!! Is it through ticketmaster or a broker (bad news ) Shop around because that price does NOT seem right! Thanks for the advice. I just looked at a few sites for prices. I will keep searching, but we may go with the OCPAC since it is cheaper.

Good for you! Hopefully it will lead to a full time position! I am definetly doing a trip report when I return since I've had alot of fun doing this one. I can't be on THAT much during the weekend since I work Fri, Sat, Sun but I have plenty of time during the week

I will have a long-term position starting in October for a maternity leave and I can't wait for that, it's so much better to do your own thing and see the same kids every day!

Now I am going to be teaching Spanish for the next two weeks for a teacher who had to leave the country for an emergency, this should be fun, I'm racking my brain and trying to bring back my high school and college Spanish class memories!!

So here we are at 3 days out, I can't believe it's almost here already! My bags and the kids bags are nearly packed, the final stuff will go in Wed. after I do laundry I did most of it this morning because it's cold here in New England now and they won't be wearing shorts much. Except for Cooper who is AKA "Shorty McShort Shorts" I swear he'd be wearin' Daisy Dukes if I let him It's 60 degrees out now and he had a meltdown this morning because I wanted him to wear trackpants. Fine, wear shorts, I pick my battles (except at Disney where I WIN )

I let them pack their carry on's the other night after they bugged me for 15 minutes. This is Cooper's:

There are about 20 action figures in here probably all Power Rangers.


Bella has every electronic device known to man (or kid) in her case. She loves the Toys R Us website and is always on there doing a search on either electronic stuff, hockey, or spy stuff. I must hear "Mom, quick, look" about 50 times... She also put a blanket in her bag since she doesn't like the plane ones "they stink" Meh, probably a good idea, now I think about it! I watched some Discovery channel show last night and they were talking about germs and how they multiply. I was SO grossed out ! I spent the morning steam cleaning my carpets so they sparkle now! Seriously. Pierre got it yesterday so I had no choice.

I'm getting bad vibes about these Hannah Montana tix I'm supposed to get next Tues. Loads of people on another thread are having the worst luck and are saying the tix are sold out in 2 mins from Ticketmaster then being sold on ebay for an OBSCENE amount of dolla bills (yo!) on ebay. Not only that but the Mileyworld website which Bella paid for herself, mind you, said that Hartford has a presale but Ticketmaster says there is NO presale for Hartford I can go to 2 other locations since I'm pretty central to all but I just don't have a good feeling and told Bella not to get her hopes up. These other brokers must be kickin' back some serious money to Ticketmaster, that's all I have to say. SO annoyed...


Tomorrow is my last day of work then Wed I am getting some groceries and will finish packing. I'm also getting a pedicure. I'm so excited, can't you tell? CHEERS, off to Disney in 3 DAYS!

Cooper is totally psyched too.

Hola! That's all I can remember. Pierre has the MOST French sounding name ever (when you add the last name) but I tease him that he only French he knows is french fry and croissant, LOL!
