oh my goodness - those mai tais didnt sit too well -
now what do i do for my stomach?

We received this little packet while we were in Myrtle Beach. There was a packet of this stuff called "The morning after". I think you can get it at a pharmacy like CVS, or Walgreens. It works really well.

The best remedy is the hair of the dog that bit you. ;) Have another Mai Tai!

Blueberry bagle with strawberry cream cheese...and a diet coke.
That was my usual Friday morning breakfast when I used to party on Thursday nights. It really works! :D

Get something in your stomach!! Anything dry is usually good, like toast, muffin or bagel. Also Advil or Tylenol and plenty of water!! Joan:D

I've heard (wink wink) that Gatorade will do the trick. You need to re-hydrate, so Diet Coke or Coffee is not the right move, the caffeine will de-hydrate you more. Water works too, but the Gatorade will work faster. Not that I've ever done this before, but a good friend who this happens to told me. ;)

hydrate, hydrate, hydrate with lots of water. Most headaches are caused from dehydration.

Aspirin (Bayer or generic) is often used for a hangover, because it thins the blod and gets it flowing better.

Tylenol is ABSOLUTELY NOT recommended for a hangover as recent studies have shown that Tylenol and drinking have contributed to liver damage. Advil is Ibuprofen which is more an anti-inflammatory and really won't do much to help.

The toast/bagel is highly recommended.

Oooh boy!! I recommend McDonalds. Yup - honest.

My first hangover ever occurred the last morning of our Disney Cruise. (Yup, too much merlot on the last night's dinner at Animator's Palate!!) ... HOO boy I was not right. I swear to you, having a cheeseburger and fries at MCO while waiting for our flight fixed me RIGHT up.

It may be late, but I hope it helps.

When I was a waitress, one of the tried and true remedies was bitters and soda water. The bitters settle your stomach, and the soda water rehydrates you.

But the only place I've seen bitters is IN A BAR. It was usually used by those of us who had to work a lunch shift after a particularly, um, festive night.

Daisy;)

I agree, a Big Mac and a glass of alka seltzer on the rocks. The stuff tastes a lot better if it's over ice. And a nice long nap if you can will also help.

Back in the days-cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake...
then I chugged water and slept. I agree-take aspirin NOT
Tylenol.
