I know that the roll in shower rooms for POFQ are in bldg 3. Does anyone happen to know where they are in CS? We are thinking of trying it for our next trip. I wrote this under their thread but noone answered. Thanks so much.

In older buildings (old being pre-1991), it was common to put all the handicapped accessible rooms in a specific area. The ADA guideline say they need to include different locations, views, etc.
CS is a newer resort and would not have them all in one place. They would be dispersed throughout the resort. You may not find one in every building, but they would be in every area.

Thanks so much. Is there any area you would request? We are retired and would probably use a hot tub, perhaps a quiet pool but do not want to be too far from the restaurants etc. I am in a scooter.

Here's a link to the map of CS.
I know there is a hot tub by the main pool (labeled the "Dig Site"), but I am not sure if there is a hot tub by all the quiet pools. Each of the different areas of the resort has a quiet pool.
At the Casitas (the yellow colored area on the map) - look for the blue buildings labeled "Spa" and the pool is near there. That area is close to the food court.
The Ranchos area is the green colored area on the map. I think the pool is at the point of the map where it says "20". We stayed in the Ranchos and it is fairly close to the main pool, but a longer walk to the food court. There is a good paved path though and if you have a scooter, you would have no problem driving it on the path.
I believe the Cabanas (the red area on the map) pool is about where it says 23.
The bus stops are the sort of little 'huts' on the map with kind of a roughly drawn bus in front of them.

We have stayed at CS twice now. Both times were in the Casitas. Building 1 on the second floor and building one on the first floor. If I remember it right there is a hot tub at the spa pool. Both of the rooms we stayed at were very close to both the main building and bus stops.

It's probably worth it to you to pay for a preferred location at CS due to the resort being very spread out and large. We've stayed in a roll in shower room in every section and the Ranchos, while I like them, would be a huge hike if you don't have a vehicle with you. There are bus stops close to every area though and you might want to check with a res agent to see if there are hot tubs near each quiet pool.---Kathy

Does CS have preferred locations? I thought the only choices were 'water view' and 'standard view'?
