Where can I get a couple of mist fans?
Will they attach to a stroller?
We are leaving next week - do you think it will be really hot and humid?

1st. trip and I appreciate your help :flower:

I've purchased them at Walmart in the past. I don't know if they have them at this time of year...I got mine for a May trip.

We also leave next week, and when I checked the accuweather 15 day forcast, it said it was going to be humid and in the 90's. There is still time for it to change, though!

I actually got mine at walmart two weeks ago on clearance for $1. They have a strap on it to hang around your neck or probably a stroller:)

What's it called? I wonder if I could just order off the internet....

90??? oh my! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

If your talking about what I think you're talking about...you can get them right at Disney. They're at all the parks. It might be worth waiting to get them there if you find it's getting too hot. Less to pack and take with you.

If you get them at the parks, keep in mind that they will be more expensive than if you buy them someplace else.
Also, we noticed that they were more expensive at AK than at the other parks (people have posted that park feels hotter, so it makes sense that they could get more people top pay higher prices there).

We got ours at Wal Mart too, however, we refuse to bring it as DS (4) drenches us with water the entire time. We prefer the non-mist fan.

When we were there last year, they were $18!! Obviously, we passed on them! I was very glad we got ours at Walmart and packed them!

You can get the personal no-mist fans at the Disney Store. They have a string to wear them around your neck. They come with different characters on them. My boys each have one (from last year) and they also light up...very cute! :goodvibes

I personally don't like the mist fans, but that's just me. I'm with "kimpossible." I've had so many people at the park mist themselves and unintentionally get me wet (and mist my glasses too) that I've made it a point not to buy them.

I've not seen mist fans that attach to strollers, but we do use a stroller fan. I'm sure it's been talked about on these boards. Our kids LOVE them. Of course, they don't mist, but they do keep the air flow going, which is especially nice when they're napping, reclined back and covered.

Here's a link to a picture of it:

HTH!

We are headed into our cold season, here in MN. I have been in search of these fans for a few months! Anyone have any idea where to find one in MN? I really don't want to pay $18 for a 4.99 fan at the park.
TIA!

Agreed! It really REALLY peeves me when someone mists all over themselves--and me! These things don't belong in the hands of kids, and definitely look who's around you before using one.

In fact they are right up there with chewing gum on the pavement in my book.

This is what we use. I fill it with ice water before we leave to go to the park, and clip it to our backpack. I find that it works as well, if not better, than the misting fans. It emits a very fine, cool mist. I bought it at Walmart for less than $10.00.
