I have been reading hoping someone has stayed here. I have reservations for April22-May7 and don't want to have to find a new place because it was dirty or run down. I have always believed in Hampton Inn and have stayed all around the country with them but, never been to WDW. We are looking forward to visiting Mickey, can someone give me feed back on this hotel please. Thanks for all the great information I have read here.

Keep smiling.

I'll be there the 24th-30th, unless I take the priceline plunge...

I have researched the hotel, and have not found it to be a dump....mixed reviews, but even the negative were not really negative!

I stayed at the HI LBV about two years ago. It was fine, typical Hampton Inn. Who knows what happens in two years. The good thing is this one has the two queen beds as the others in Orlando have two full beds. It's also in a convenient location. It's usually the most expensive one in the area. Recently I stayed at the one on the Parkway, right on the highway. It was terrible! Noisey, run down, staff terrible too.

HELP!!!!!!! Are there are 2 in Lake Buena Vista? I think it is the highway one that I have the reservations for, help it is one palm parkway.... is that the good one or the bad one.......

No, Palm Parkway is the better one. The bad one I stayed at is on The Parkway, confusing I know. I think the one on the Parkway is called the Hampton Inn East. The Hampton Inn West is near Animal Kingdom and the Palm Parkway one is LBV.

Thank you.... it is confusing. I do appreciate the information. Does anyone remember what stores and restraunts are around that area.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista twice, the most recently was in October. I think it's a great place for the money, as I can usually get it for around $60 a night. I even stayed there solo and felt fine :). The free breakfast is pretty good, too - has a nice selection of the basics like cereal, muffins, bread, juice, etc. I had a fridge in my room, which is great since I always bring snacks and soda from home. The pool looked small and basic, but certainly "swimable".

Overall I thought the hotel was very nice and clean, and not that old either. Palm Parkway is a nice road, not too busy, mainly filled with other hotels and one shopping center with restaurants.

I am going again in May and I hope to book the Hampton LBV again! :)

thanks for the information. I am feeling better about the choice. does anyone have any thoughts on scheduled shuttle vs. driving to theme parks? what is the parking fee? best lots to park? etc.

Keep Smiling
