There's a post on page 1 showing sell out dates from last year and it looks like September 23 was the sell out date for the party on the Monday following Gay Days. Gay days weekend is 10/1 and 10/2 this year so it should be a pretty good comparison. I'd make sure they buy sooner than later though, you never know where the demand might shift from year to year!
Thank you!

Got ours for October 3rd. We always go early. The kids will be Wizard of Oz characters.. not sure whether the adults will dress up or not.

Hello everyone! I have a costume question. Originally I was not going to wear one for the party, but last night I was having some fun painting my face Joker style and stuff, and thought that I could go as a casual Harley Quinn. I'm not sure if this kind of paint face is allowed at Disney. It's not scary, but maybe a bit agressive for kids? I'm honestly not sure and I want to make sure it's ok for the party! Thank's guys!

While I think the make up looks GREAT! My 5 year old was next to me when your picture came up and it scared the crap out of here, lol...she's got her eye's covered as I write this response since the picture is in the quote, lol.

I agree. I like it but I don't think it's kid friendly.

Halloween officially made it to Costco. Costumes and demand decorations are out. Happy costume hunting.

My daughter was in tears tonight. She has always been on the smaller side of the spectrum, but this past year or so she has done a LOT of catching up. She has grown 6 or 7 inches in the last year and a half. She is nine and LOVES Doc McStuffins. She outgrew the costume and tonight my mom had to break it to her that there is nothing she can do to make it fit (my mom is an amazing seamstress). My daughter is brokenhearted. It's a pre-school show, so Disney makes the clothing for the younger girls. She was so excited when we found the costume in a size 10 last summer at Disneyland.

Has anyone ever seen a Doc costume any bigger than that? I've not been able to find one and am not sure how to go about finding the right fabric to try to make one.

I don't know where to find an official costume that size, but Doc McStuffins should be an easy look to put together.

For instance:

TOP or TOP
COAT (add embellishments if you wish)
SKIRT
PANTS (shorten to capris)

Then just need some pink Converse sneakers, make a quick headband, and get some doctor gear.

Good luck on getting it figured out! :)

The doctor I work for dressed up as Doc last year. White coat, striped shirt, purple or pink leggings, purple sparkly headband with braids, and a stethoscope. Seems like she had Lambie if she went in to see kids.

Party Questions: if we are already in the park the day of the party is there a separate place to get wristbands or do we have to go to the entrance and line up with people who don't have park tickets?

Has there been any word on if there will be a pre-party in toontown again this year?

I have been searching high and low for info about the pre party since it's basically party of my plans for the day at this point but I can't find anything about if it actually will continue this year. I really hope so since it really is a nice way to add value to the price of the ticket during a year when so much is already not going to be happening, like the carnival and free parking for party goers. But as of yet there is nothing to confirm or deny the toontown pre party.

you can get your wristband as soon as party goers can start arriving (3 or 4 depending on the day) if it stays the same as prior years and there is a person you can get them from in front of frontierland so you don't have to go back to the front of the park.

These are great! Thank you so much!

I have a really bad memory, but I think that last year someone on this thread discovered the TT pre-party would repeat based on the time TT closed on the Disneyland schedule. I don't think there had been any confirmation from DLR before then.

You shouldn't have any problem putting together the pieces for a great Doc costume. My DGD is a big Doc fan too, and I've pieced together outfits for her a few times. Enlist your daughter's help... you'll have a blast!

What time can you get into DL with just a party ticket?
Was maybe wanting to eat prior to the party in the park, didn't know if it was like WDW and we got in at 4:00 - I may just add another day to ticket package if we can't get in early.

Assuming nothing has changed from years past, you can get in early. I think its 3pm for the early parties and 4pm for the later parties.
