Halloween trip: Villians party or Star Wars party?

Going to be in Wdw from 10/25-11/2. Have tickets already for MNSSHP on 10/31 (because that's what my son said was on his bucket list).
So my question is, should we do the Villians Party or the Star Wars fireworks party?
I know the fireworks party hasn't been extended yet, but I assume it will be since its been popular.
It would be myself, DH and DS who is 8.
Better value, better entertainment? Opinions?

I think it depends on what you like better - the villains party has unique character meets and fun entertainment but costs more and the dessert party has fun food in a fun setting and gets you a great spot for the fireworks - a show where having a good spot matters

If cost isn't an issue and you can just wait for 45-60mins to steak out a good spot for fireworks then I think the villains is something better/more special

If you only have time to do one or the other then I think it comes down to if you would rather meet villains or see an awesome Star Wars show from great vantage spot

I haven't been to either and I love Star Wars but... I vote Villains Party.
