The mixing in really affects DCA. Wdw has three other parks to go to besides DCA. Oogie Boogie spikes Disneylands crowds.

And every other after hours event spikes DCAs. There is not much that can be done about it.

Does anyone think the original HM will be down on 2024 completely? And we will just see HMH starting in August?

Yes, I feel like there will be Oogie nights in August. I hate to say that more are needed but after the tickets selling out in 1 day the last couple years, it seems like it would be smart to have at least a few more parties.

I really don't think HM will be down until Halloween time, but I think it will go down earlier in August to prep for HMH as that is always ready for the first day of Halloween Time.

Ok. I was thinking of going in late July to the end of the first week of August. I do not care if it is down a day or so during my trip. I will finalize dates soon...Thanks @KPeterso

Based on historical data, it takes DL 17 days to overlay HMH (for some reason, 2018 was 10 days, I wonder if that data is incorrect, but anyway).

That means we should expect closure on 8/5/24 or 8/6/24, and an opening on 8/22/24 or 8/23/24 (first day of Halloweentime).

Historical data here, if anyone wants to divinate!
