Day 2 of Wendy's gone and I have control! Hehehe! Well this morning was a lot quieter no fighting meaning today after school huge fight I am sure.

I called my DD's from work today at about 4:00. They were argueing while I was on the phone with them and I was like, "OK, I LOVE YOU BYE" and hung up. LOL PITA's!

Well on Wednesday I went to the DR for my Carpal Tunnel and he scheduled me for surgery on Monday! I was shocked. We belong to an HMO so I figured it would be at least a month but he says it is so severe we can't wait. So if he decides to do both hands I may have to dictate to one of my kids to do my Dis. It should be real fun.

WOW, that is quick. I hope it goes really well for you!!!! I'm sure I need it, too but I'm scared to find out.

Hmm..What else oh yeah I am supposed to be bringing waffles to Wendy as we speak, but as you can tell I am hurrying.

Well now the surgery may not actually work as well as it might have before is what I have been told.

Poor thing. I would be happy with a trip to the ocean. But DH is working and so I am home wreaking havoc.

Today being Saturday and all three kids home I am amazed we have only had minor battles.

On the plus side I amaze myself with my abilities. I started a message board for my kids and their friends to visit. It was amazingly easy. I am now trying to make it look cool. Not as easy as one might think.

It actually has members that aren't family members.

Well, today is Wendy's last day at my happy place. I am still trying to figure out how to change the grahics and add my own to my kids message board. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's still quiet in our house no fighting or squabbling yet either. Hmm maybe I ought to check for fevers. Why is it that they think they need to yell at me to get their point across about how mean they think their siblings are?

Well. I have had fun hijacking the thread but alas I relinquish control back to the threads rightful owner.

to insert a link? I'm not REALLY good at it (I've seen other people rename the link and make it fancy) but what I know can work is:

1) go to edit signature
2) go to another window and open the page that your kids' message board is on
3) copy the exact message board address MINUS the http:// part. So just start at the www. blah blah blah...

4) in your signature window: hit the little square that has what looks to be an earth with a paper clip under it. Next to that graphic is the paperclip with a red "x" through it. It's under the white smiley face graphic and near the font and size stuff. It's called "INSERT LINK"

5) click on the insert link and paste your www info from your kids' message board. then click ok. EXTRA BIT: Before you click anything else..while the www. blah blah blah is highlighed you can go to the change color bit and change the color to blue which is the globally accepted color for a link. LOL

Now that's an advanced move for me as if I forget to change the color while I am still highlighed then I can NEVER change the color because for the life of me I can't understand how to do html or whatever and I can't go back and change the color after it's already inserted. Go figure.

I am so proud. Between my 14 year old daughter and I we managed to add new smileys to their message board. Woo hoo! I feel so smart. I had to ask my 14 year old for help.
