Hi,

Since Robin can't be hostess for the swap, we've worked it out for me to take it for her.

We'll go with the same plan that we had before:

Here it is...the official sign up sheet for the Halloween Tag Swap!!


The Rules:

It has to contain a tag. It doesn't have to be manufactured, but it has to have tags, or become a tag as a result of your creation. It can begin as a tag and become something totally different though...(ie: a tag book)

It has to be Disney themed...but that is not limited to only one specific area... It can be classic characters, park oriented (haunted mansion, etc), it can be movie themed (NBC, monsters inc, or even Pooh, boo to you!) as long as it's been done by Disney, it can be done by you...( Gosh, that sounds awfully limiting, doesn't it...that guy has NO imagination!)

We'll stick with cute, not too scary, since most of us will be using our children's pics.

It has to be sent to me and in MY mailbox by Oct. 25th.

Please send a self addressed stamped envelope with extra postage for me to send your tags back in. A bubble envelope, or priority mailer would be fine too.

Please send each tag in a separate baggie and put all baggies on one large zip lock baggie to insure protection from the elements.
Please put a note, or sticker on each baggie with your first name, and your DIS name so we will all know who did each project.

And last but not least, it is absolutely imperitive that you open your mind, get creative, and have lots of fun, or the whole thing will just be useless!!

What you will do is make 10-12 copies of the same tag, and send it to the group. (I think a limit of 10 or 12 is good, how about you?)

Decide if you're interested, email me personally your home addy, (DON'T post it on the board!) and I'll put the list together and get it to all participating.


So, ponder a bit, and let me know...post here as well if you are in, and we'll keep a tally that way.

and I looked at the Tag your it displays on two peas....but! Does it have to be a certain shape? Can I start out with say a Mickey head and then embellish it or chalk it, the add a hole with a hole punch and a little ribbon or yarn? Is that how it works/or can work? I have some cute ideas but not sure if they follow what we are supposed to be swapping this month. Does it have to be halloween related? My books dont have much halloween disney, mostly summer. I am so confused.


I would like to try it but dont want anyone upset if I do it wrong.

Hi, any shape is fine! There are tags of every shape and size!
We are trying to stay with a Disney Halloween theme, even if its Mickey holding a pumpkin or candy etc....lots of versatility!

Don't worry, no one will be upset or mad at your choices!
Its all for fun and to get some extra goodies for our books, and to help us all increase our own creativity!

If we don't have many more sign up, I guess we could even do 2 or 3 tags each to swap, they could even be similar to use on one page....I'll give it a day or so more for sign ups and then we'll see.
