Halloween report-better late than never

Took my DD16 for quick trip for Halloween weekend. We stayed at POP with 4 day military tickets and no dining plan. First time using online check in. Went so smooth. Also loved the new mobile food ordering. This is the bomb. My daughter received tons of extra magic for her birthday. Have to say crowds were low, weather was great. We're from Michigan so we were still in shorts and tank tops. Kind of funny seeing people running around in heavy winter coats. Buses ran fine. I only have two observations that I'm wondering if anyone else experienced. One, seemed like no photo pass photographers at AK. Only saw one at park opening. Very disappointed in that. We relied on them for many of our pictures. Two, this was the big one. Many, Many lines had people on their phones not paying attention to the line. Constantly had to tell people to move up. At one point, three guys just stopped the line on POC. After the fourth time doing it people just started going around them. they of course didn't like this. Anyone else have this happen? It occurred in almost every line we were in all weekend. My daughter and I actually agreed we would stay off our phones as much as possible. We did use MDE at times. Only other event to hold up a line was a teenage couple making out in line. I mean wrapped around each other and sucking face like you wouldn't believe. That was a first for me. It was a fabulous trip for us.

We were there that week also.

1) Completely agree about lack of photographers at AK. Just going through our pics yesterday and I have like 6 from AK out of 400+ photos.

2) The lack of paying attention in line irks me to no end. Granted it's of little consequence most of the time, but I saw several times on our trip people not paying attention close to the FP merge and thus the CM would switch to the other side and start letting people through. Not that big a deal if you are on the FP side, but it is super frustrating when you finally have your chance to move through on the standby side and only 4 people get through the merge because a group is on their phone.
