Halloween punch recipe needed!!

Got any ideas for a neat beverage for a 4th grade Halloween party?? It's my first time ever as a room mom -- HELP!!!

Punch

Hawaiian punch--orange--with sprite or ginger ale added.

Sprite or 7 up with orange sherbet added. Have some plain pop on side for those who don't want sherbet.


Ice cubes

Get gummy worms, spiders, etc--just the plain, not sugar ones. Make ice cubes and stick one in each. Kids love them! Put two in a clear glass cup to serve with punch.

YOu can use orange hawaiin punch and add sprite or ginger ale. Or use orange soda adn pinnapple juice. Or orange juice, sprite and pinnapple juice. Or plain sprite or gingerale with orange sherbert. You could even use orange koolaid (made first) with pinnapple juice and sprite. I did that once to make blue punch and got great reviews. (with blue kool aid, obviously)

Or you can make purple punch with purple hawaiin punch or purple koolaid with the abve recipes.

Ooh, Iknow what would be really cool is to make a dark purple punch and then put orange sherbert on top. It woudl be kind of freaky looking.

I love this idea! OR you could make an ice ring (I'd use juice, kool aid, just not water so it doesn't water the punch down) and put the worms in it. Then they will be floating in the punch bowl.

I just got my foodtv newsletter that said to put water into a surgical glove and freeze it, remove the glove after freezing and put the 'hand' in your punch to keep it cold. It looked really neat, a hand floating in the punch.

Better yet make a light colored punch like lemonade, orange, sprite or someting like that. Freeze fruit punch in a surgical glove, make sure you either turn the glove inside out or wash out all the powder or get powder free gloves. The powder doesn't taste very good. It will look like the hand is bleeding in the punch.

I like the hand idea, especially if if was a different color than the punch!

I did green glop punch one year - 7 up with lime sherbet with the floating hand. It went over well.

I like to use apple juice with orange sherbert. I know it sounds odd, but it takes great.

Another one, toilet punch:

Dump Mountain Dew in your container and drop tootsie rolls in it. Let it fizz and the tootsie rolls kind of dissolve. If I could only think of something for TP. If you really want a great effect dump it in a clean container and stick if it in a potty training toilet. It looks like number 1 and number 2 combined together. It sounds gross and looks gross but tastes pretty goods. Some people get a kick out of it others won't touch it.
