Halloween party dress up

We are planning on attending the Halloween party and spending the day at Magic Kingdom. Is it ok for the kids to be dressed up all day or should I bring there costumes to change into?

It is certainly OK for children to wear costumes in the MK, Halloween or not.

The more important considerations for me would be are the children going to be comfortable in their costumes all day (even in October central fla. can be blisteringly hot) and will the costume survive a full day of running around a theme park?

Our last MNSSHP, we entered MK at 4pm in costume and by 6pm, DD was ready to come out of her short sleeved princess dress because she was hot and this was the third week of October. She had shorts on under her dress and I brought her a T so it worked out other than I had to carry her dress the rest of the night. If you plan to be at the parks from RD until well into the night, you could always rent a locker for the day and stow the costumes in there until party time and then they could change.

I definitely would not recommend they wear the costumes early in the day. They will be hot, so by the time the party starts, they wont want to put them on! I like your idea about renting a locker and changing into the costumes once the party starts.

Yeah i am going on Halloween this year and my DD will not be in her costume all day, i actually wont be in the park until its time for the party
