Halloween party creeping up earlier and earlier

This just made me laugh thinking about Disney doing the Halloween party here this early in August. I wonder how long it will before it will start at the beginning of August? LoL.

Well, Mid-Summer Scream (the biggest of the Horror/Halloween conventions) is in July, and May 1 is halfway day (halfway between last Halloween and the next one) but something tells me they won't let it creep past 4th of July, no matter how hard I wish.

Local stores have Halloween candy out in July where I live.

Yes. I have been in early October and the ones during the week do not usually sell out. They have signs at the entrance of MK saying if there are tickets available or if it is sold out.

There’s a market for it, so it makes sense for Disney to go after it. I sell candles and launched my Halloween line today and have had several orders. Spirit Halloween stores are open around here. People (myself included!) love fall/Halloween.

Yep. And I think that speaks to the fact that people look forward to celebrating Halloween early. IIRC, the first one always sells out, even without the big push of late for more and more social media 'celebrities' to get the word out.

I wouldn't mind them starting early - the more parties, then hopefully the smaller the crowds. However, what I don't like about it is that they don't hold back any of the merchandise. I wanted to go to the Halloween party on Halloween and I did last year... but they had almost nothing left. It was all Christmas stuff.
