I am taking my cousin as a graduation present to Disney (not til 2018, but I am getting excited already!). We are thinking of going in October/November but don't know if we should shoot for the Halloween or Christmas party dates or try and go around them? I've been to Disney a bunch of times but never got a chance to do either and don't know if it would be worth it for a party of pretty much all adults (may have one child with us, but don't know yet). I don't want to lose all the extra hours at MK by not doing them either- are there dates that don't have them at all? We usually do MK for 2-3 days.

My husband and I like the Halloween party better, however, for my daughter's bday/graduation she's requested the Christmas party.

Honestly, it will 100% depend on your own personal preferences. My husband, daughter, and I prefer the Christmas party. My parents prefer the Halloween Party. Both have good stage shows, an excellent parade, great fireworks, and short lines for rides. You get candy at Halloween and cookies and hot chocolate at the Christmas party. Personally, I don't really think you can go wrong with either.

It's all personal preference. Having said that, my preference is Halloween.

I prefer the Halloween Party.

I did both this year and had more fun at the Halloween Party - it seemed like there was more to do during the Halloween Party. There certainly were alot of choices of things to do.
