Halloween Horror......same in Orlando and California? and other advice!

Hi guys,
We are heading to California for Halloween and were considering doing Halloween Horror at Universal......can you tell me how it compares to the one in Orlando? On a scale of 1-10 how scary is it? (We will be taking a 15 year old boy) and do you know how it compares to the Halloween events at Knotts Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain?

I've never been to either one but the DIS Unplugged did a comparison of the Orlando and Hollywood events last year.

In general, they though Hollywood's demographic skewed younger than Orlando's.
