Halloween Horror Nights

Hi,
I have just joined the forum as planning for a trip to florida in october 2011. Has anyone got any information about the Halloween Horror Nights at universal? The last time we were there in october my son was 3yrs old, so we didn't think it would be suitable for him, he is now 15yrs old and it would be right up his street. Can i pre- book? how far in advance? and what is the best way to do this.

Yes...HHN is a great event but during the summer prior can drive you batty since they like to slowly release information making it a game.
