Hi gang,
We are staying at the Hard Rock (love that Front of the Line!) in the Fall and plan on buying tickets for the Halloween Horror Nights.

I know we need seperate tickets for the Halloween Horror Night, but do we still get Front of the Line privliges at the Halloween event?

My friend seems to think that we will need to buy the Universal Express booklet...

Thanks! - Phil

Unfortunately, you will have to buy a seperate express booklet for HHN. I paid $40 two years ago on a Saturday (peak) night. They are cheaper during non-peak nights. I have heard that you can buy them in advance and get them cheaper. Someone else may be able to clarify that.

You can do the VIP tour for about $125 each. We did it last year and it was worth it. It is truly FOTL for all houses and best seats for Bill & Ted.

Motherfletcher please refresh my memory, was the $125 per person on top of the admission?

I've heard rumors of them not doing express on Saturdays this year (seems silly) so that may be an option........

Thanks!

Its on top of admission and 125 was for the weekend tour which lasted longer. Weekday was closer to 100. You get 10% off with PAP. We have been going since 93 and have watched it grow to the point where the tour is almost a necessity if you want to see it all in one night. I think with a lot of pre-planning, express passes and be waiting in the park at opening it can still be done but VIP is easy and informative. That is where I learned they were opening a second Shrek theater.

Thanks for the info. I know what you mean about it growing, the first time I went was 94 or 95 and it sure has changed!! I won't go on a weekend without express.

I Am Going On 9/30 Openeing Night Would You Suggest Vip Or Just Express Pass? There Is A Huge Difference In Money Cost.

We did the VIP on opening day last year. It helped the opening night jitters. We thought B&T would have some mistakes but everything worked out well. Our Guide was thrown off on a couple of things because of opening night. Whats really cool about VIP is once you get out of a house and the group says how much they liked it the Guide can say "Do you wanna do it again?" And straight to the front you go. One thing I missed by taking the VIP Tour is the Opening Scare-a-monies.

the hhn and expresspass plus ticket sales started this morning at 7 for the phone sales.

i bought the second weekend for f=s-s nights hhn and the express passes for each night.

to answer the above poster, yes, express passes are being sold for saturday nights.

prices went up this year...............i had planned to buy the add on for stay and scream, hhn, but ticket sales number people could not verify i bought the multi day pass already. buy a multi day pass and you can buy the add on ticket. much cheaper.
their system does not have access to the ticket sale site at orlando.....

anywho, paid $304.36 for 3 nights of hhn and express pass for each night.

a limited number of express passes will be sold.

I would say unless you want the personal attention, go with Express. You should still be able to see everything, we have every year we've had it and the nights have been very crowded. I was considering doing RIP tour this year but the prices (for everything) this year are crazy!!!!!

universal has some great superstars working for them in the ticket office.

i received an email about my order yesterday as i had inquired about the discount.

if you have a multi day pass to universal, you can buy the ADD ON hhn tickets. this is the only way to get a discount unless you have an AP.

i now have my order modified and a refund on the way !!

hhn add on prices are as follows:
fridays: $42.33
saturdays: $52.98
sundays thru thursdays: $26.36

have all i need now, only have to wait for october

got a almost $70 savings now with the discount.

and thanks to darkie's tip of last week, taking with me the dueling dragon/ice refillable mug that has a handle..............

i am so happy, i love a good sale.............
