I came back yesterday afternoon. The list of decorations so far is still pretty accurate.
A fall garland at the pavillion when you enter, along with some pumpkins. Some pumpkins around the stage where they hav Mickey's Magical Celebration. The huge pumpkin on the castle stage. Those fake pumpkins and the sign near the store in Frontierland. The same is outside one of the stores in Disney Village too.
There's some backdrops for photos when you walk over the castle drawbridge. Chip and Dale and I can't remember who else.
I didn't even notice any decorated windows. Pueblo Trading Post does have some fake spiderwebs up, that's the only thing I remember.
We saw Mickey in Halloween costume throughout the day and Pooh. I was kind of hoping to see some other characters in costume as well.
There was definitely no Halloween add on to the parade, and at least on Friday they didn't even have the villains float out.
Like poppie I was extremely disappointed. Whoever has decided to call this "small town Halloween" has never been to the United States around Halloween time.
I went to the Halloween party on Friday with some friends and seriously, to call this "Halloween party" was a joke. Extended opening hours yes, Halloween... no.
The lack of decorations is so painfully obvious that I really had a Shaun of the Dead deja vu when we saw some really cool zombies in Frontierland. The nice costumes looked so out of place.
The music only went on after 8.30 PM, and it was just two songs on loop - they didn't even play the full "it's hallo-lo-ween."
The only extra "decorations" were a sign advertising the party on the castle and two fog machines, one at the Frontierland entrance and one in the castle.
Too bad both fog machines were set way too strong. You couldn't see where you were walking at all in Frontierland.
The Sheriff of Nottingham did decide to hide in the fog and scare people. Generally a nice "halloween-y" touch.
Unfortunately due to the limited sight and the slippery area one of my friends slipped and fell when he came up to her.

She's alright, but what if that had happened to a kid?
Also they had moved the villains just in that area (throughout the day they were at Phantom Manor) and the fog made picture taking almost impossible for about the first hour until the villains realized and moved more towards Lucky Nugget saloon.
I'm going to do a separate more detailed post about the party (I don't think I have seen one on here yet), but overall I really wasn't impressed.
The show on the castle stage is cute, but as they have no ropes or anything up it turns into a even worse than usual mob scene as soon as the characters come down.

They signed for all but 5 minutes on Sunday.
Oh, and about the party : The part with the characters coming down Main Street in cars after the last stage show and then meeting people in Town Square for photos and autographs doesn't happen anymore either, at least it didn't happen on Friday.
