You just brought back some nice memories. I've only been lucky enough to visit Disneyland once, but it was at this time of the year and the fall/halloween decorations were on display. I was so glad to see the HMH overlay since I had heard about it, but never seen it before.

Wow - beautiful carved pumpkins! I can see the artisan CM working on another in the last picture. The carvings are so expressive! Love the little "balloon" on a stick, lol.

Hey, just a question for those that have been, what are they doing at Big Thunder Ranch over halloween? I can see they have pumpkin carvers, but is there anything else going on there? I had read that they would have some special things there but it was never mentioned what those "special things" were. I know in previous years they had some kids activities.

Can anyone enlighten me as to this years goings on?

Wow everyone's pictures are so great! We leave in 4 more sleeps and I can't wait. We visited WDW last year and went to MNSSHP, but even the decor at WDW did not look as great as all the pictures show DLR looking!

I have a close up of her and the other lady there working on the pumpkins. The pumpkins were even better to see up close and in person.

We were 4 adults and our interest was not in looking at kid activities as we walked through enjoying the decor, but...

There was a petting zoo. We saw a goat. There was a cabin to go inside with photo ops, all Halloween themed. There was a character meet with Woody and Jessie. We were told there was a show, though we didn't see it. There was some sort of coloring area for kids and what appeared to be cookie decorating.

Hope this helps. I am sure if you call the Park, they can tell you for certain.
