Hallmark ornament question

Does anyone remember when the buy 2 ornaments get 1 free promotion runs?

The free ornament is a "special" ornament, not your choice of ornaments.

I always buy each of my kids an ornament at Christmas and if I buy during the promotion, I get one too!

There is usually something special during the first weekend the ornaments were available which was in July. After that I think they send a special coupon or something around October when you can go and get the ornaments not out in July. Other than that I have never seen a Hallmark ornament on sale until after Christmas. I'm not a real expert on this but my wife has dragged me with her to get ornaments for the last 20 years so I have a little experience.
