Hallmark Movies ❤️ comfort & joy

The Holiday Stocking. A little slow starting, but I thought it was good. The whole "feel" of it felt like they were, indeed, a family. No really big drama, just normal family relationships.

🎄 🎄 🎄

I just watched A Fabled Christmas. I loved it! 🥰🥰🥰
Lots of magic and whimsy, and I thought the plot was relatively unique and the storyline delightful. Of course it’s hard to go wrong with Ryan Paevey and Brooke D’Orsay. 😻😻😻

We just finished watching it, and I loved it too!

Thanks for the recommendation @Worfiedoodles. I just finished A Fabled Holiday. I absolutely loved it! 🥰 It was a very light and magical movie. One the whole family would really like to watch together. It is very unique for Hallmark.

Brooke D'Orsay brought the right amount of lightness & depth. And I think this was the most relaxed I've ever seen Ryan Paevey in a movie. Nothing was forced. They seemed very comfortable together. And Ryan can support me anytime in whatever endeavor he wants. It's a very swoon-worthy movie. 🥰 🥰 🥰

I give it 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 out of 5. It's my second favorite movie this season, so far. Just as Ghosts of Christmas Always (my first favorite) was a bit different and unexpected, this one was too.

And my third favorite is still Danica's movie on GA Family, Christmas at the Drive-In, as it's the most classic "Hallmark" movie.

Rejoining the thread for this year though I've been reading along this year have watched enough to get some to list out here.

Glad you are joining in.

Some movies I had to delete and reschedule or push off recording as per usual I just can never get enough recording space lol.

I happened to look at the On Demand list on Lifetime last night. Turns out a lot of their better movies this season, and several good past ones are On Demand. Makes sense as they had to remove most of the murdering cheerleading mom movies off On Demand until the day after Christmas.

That actually takes some of the pressure off trying to reschedule them to fit them in, for those of us with little recording space. :headache:

On Demand is a good tip!

Christmas on the Slopes. I liked this one. While the chef was embarrassed that he didn't recognize her, it wasn't a really bad conflict like some movies have in them. I thought Sophia was very genuine, and I liked that the "romantic male" lead's accent wasn't the typical (good/bad) generic British one. The food looked especially good, I'd like to have been able to try it.

Can someone tell me what channel A Fabled Christmas is on? I wanted to watch it but can't find it listed on any of the Hallmark channels. TIA

A Fabled Holiday was new on Hallmark last night. Generally, they wait a couple of days before they start repeat airings.

I am currently watching Noel Next Door. I'm sorry, but this kid is a total brat?!?!?! Why would they write this and think we would side with the kid over the crabby neighbor? I'd by ultra annoyed too if a kid was kicking a ball against my wall and then said you can't catch me when I told him to stop.

Wed at 10 pm eastern on Hallmark

Well never mind - it is not showing in my guide

I was surprised with the "perfect" kid next door/brat thing, also.

I just went searching the hallmark site, and found this--A Fabled Christmas--Tuesday December 6 10/9c

Going to check my cable screen shortly to see if it's listed there for me to record.

Every week I post the day the movies air, the channel, the actors, a description and lately have added re-air dates.

One can do a DIS search for a specific movie as it's archived here. Go to the top right corner, click on Search, type in the title or actors or words and scroll to the right to click on "This thread." It will bring up posts with the movie title or words that are in this post only. Easier than scrolling back and looking for a specific movie or actor.

Me too. Total brat. But in looking back on it, the writers may actually have been trying to show that "Scrooge" may not be so scroogy after all. That he actually was grumpy and annoyed as all heck and for a legitimately good reason.

Just watched Fit for Christmas that was on CBS last night. I really enjoyed it a lot. I would give it a 5 star rating

I just watched most of CBS’s Fit for Christmas.

Even Paul Greene couldn’t save this. Amanda Klootz as the heroine was awful. If CBS wants to be Hallmark, they’d better step it up 😳🤣
