Hallmark Gift card $5 -- what did you buy?

I used my $5 coupon on the ornament that has the countdown to Christmas. I gave it to my grandson and he loves it!

You can find a pull out postcard for $5/$5 purchase at Hallmark in the following December issue of these magazines:

Nov/Dec MidWest Living Page 17 (sticky/peel off coupon)
Dec. Real Simple (between pages 74-74)
Dec. Family Circle (page 61)
Dec. Southern Living
Dec. Martha Stewart Living (page 93)
Dec. Redbook (pages 53-54)
Dec. Oprah Magazine (page 111)
Dec. Woman’s Day *NEW*
Dec. Parent & Child *NEW*
Dec. Food Network Magazine *NEW*

stole that from a blog....

I got a coupon in the mail and desperately need to buy some cards! Planning on going tomorrow to see what I can find.

Just found mine in my new redbook. Thanks! I'll probably get a VB wallet or something VB with it!!:goodvibes

My Hallmark store had 40% off some VB items. I got a water bottle (ceramic like on the outside) at 50% off (was $25, half off was $12.50) then used my $10 off coupon and paid $2.50 plus tax:banana::banana:
There were lots of bags and purses at the 40%off.
I also have my $5 off coupon and will go back next time Im in the mall to see what else I can get.

I got mine in the Martha Stewart Living mag and used it to buy two nice boxes of cards. The cards were BOGO 50%, the first box was the "fancy cards" and were $16.99, the second box was 4.99 after the discount, then add in the 5 dollar coupon and I spent 18 dollars. I love the cards, they suit our personality...

Do they have VB lunchboxes, and if so, do you remember their approximate cost? I have a friend who would love one and I'd love to surprise her.

I bought my christmas cards there with the $5 card. They were originally $15.99 with 50% off and then my coupon so I only spent $3.18. I was very excited!

Piggybacking... so boxed card sets are already reduced in some stores? Stocking up for next year. :) Thanks!

The Vera Bradley lunchboxes are $28 to the PP who asked.

I have several coupons to use but haven't been in a store yet. Need to get shopping before my trip!!

I got some of the non slip slippers they had. Tey were on a round thing close to the door. They were $12 so they were only $7 after the coupon. I got myself a pair with the $10 one. These are for my mom.

The worker did look a little annoyed that I had the coupon, stared at it, looked at me and rang it through. They had little snowmen buy one get one so they both would have been free with the coupon. They were by the register.

Dont mean to be redundant... If I have $30 in coupons from various sources.. I would have to use them in seperate transactions?

Are you talking about the $5 coupons that were in various magazines? It says right on the coupon "limit one coupon per customer" and "cannot be combined with other coupons" :confused3

I went to the mall today and stopped in Hallmark...I picked up two rolls of nice heavy wrapping paper that were $4.99 each...figured I would use the coupon and pay a total of $5. It turned out that the wrapping paper was on sale, buy one get one for .99...so with the coupon I paid a total of $1.68 for the two rolls of paper! :)

My oldest got the Alice tea pot ornament.

that's a great surprise to get, huh?

Did someone mention Yankee Candle car air-fresheners on one of these threads? Anyone know how much they are?

.99 cards and the 2/$5.99 baby and birthday gift wrap. I can always find christmas wrap so cheap after the holidays but never a deal on baby gift or bday gift wrap.

I bought a $6.99 Hello Kitty beanie baby for my DD for $2 and change (tax included).
