Hallmark Christmas Movies (+ other channels) ❤️ comfort & joy

One of the ones that I like the most I have yet to see, and it's Good Morning Christmas with Allison Sweeney. Wasn't on the list, but my favs generally weren't. Not mentioned but I enjoy:

Good Morning Christmas
Christmas in Tahoe
Christmas with the Darlings
Merry and Bright
Cranberry Christmas

I'll watch but not record:
  • Veteran's Christmas
  • The Sweetest Christmas
  • Time for Us to Come Home (and some of the others in the series)
  • Evergreen series
  • You me and the Christmas Trees

There are a few others who's names escape me:
  • The one where the travel writer (?) finds herself double booked for a family for a cabin reservation, predictably falling for each other
  • Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe (?)
  • The one where Danika McKeller plays a columnist who is fired so she returned home to the Tahoe area and her former boss tries to convince her to return

Those are all going to pale in comparison to what’s coming next year… guess why…
Are you referring to the aforementioned 2026 Christmas movie that Lacey Chabert is filming at WDW? Although Hallmark tends to give her some of their best scripts, we have no idea at this point what its quality will be vis-a-vis other Hallmark movies. It's very premature to say that "those are all going to pale in comparison" to it.

Even the location isn't the most impressive they've ever used, considering all the amazing countries Hallmark has filmed in in recent years.

Ooh, that makes me ask -- do you all have a holiday favorite "on location" movie? I think mine might be the one last year in Iceland with Lacey and Kristofer Polaha where they were looking for treasure.

This is my list of Hallmark Christmas favorites. I went through my recorded list.

A Biltmore Christmas
A Timeless Christmas
Christmas Getaway
Christmas in Montana
Switched for Christmas
Family for Christmas
Christmas with the Darlings
Christmas at the Plaza
A Very Merry Mix-Up
Check Inn to Christmas
Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas
Snow Bride
12 Gifts of Christmas
Christmas at Holly Lodge
Christmas in Homestead
Operation Christmas
Coming Home for Christmas
A Bramble House Christmas
Ice Sculpture Christmas
Let It Snow
A Gift to Remember
A Godwink Christmas 1 & 2
Christmas Town
The Christmas Cottage
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Picture a Perfect Christmas
The Royal Nanny
Christmas Island
A Christmas to Remember
Our Christmas Love Song - Alicia Witt Brendan Hines
A Christmas Love Story - Kristin Chenoweth & Scott Wolf
A Song for Christmas - Becca Tobin & Kevin McGarry

If I don't save the recording after watching, I probably won't watch it again when it comes on TV again. The exceptions are: A Crown For Christmas, A Royal Christmas and A Princess for Christmas. They are favorites, but I've watched them too many times to want them recorded. Also, there are so many new ones coming out to watch.

These are my favorite Christmas movies on Lifetime TV. I no longer have Lifetime so I have to watch from their website.

You can stream them for FREE at:

https://play.mylifetime.com/movies

If a popup shows up asking you if you are a subscriber to LMN, their movie channel, just click dismiss. That is to access extra content. It's not a requirement to watch the Lifetime Christmas movies. popcorn::

Then scroll down a couple sections to "All Movies" to see ALL the listings. There is a tab somewhere to only see the listings for the holiday movies, but it actually isn't ALL the holiday movies and that page was weird to navigate. So, it's better to sift through all stalking neighbor movies too, to find your old favorite Lifetime movies.

Christmas A La Mode
Christmas on the Menu
It Takes a Christmas Village
Christmas at the Chalet
A Christmas in Tennessee
Snowed-Inn Christmas
Christmas on the Vine
A Christmas Spark
The Christmas Setup
Every Day is Christmas
A Gift Wrapped Christmas
Reba McEntire's Christmas in Tune
Reindeer Games Homecoming
Toying With the Holidays
Too Close for Christmas

Lifetime movies free with Prime Video:
Christmas Pen Pals
Random Acts of Christmas
Christmas on the Bayou
A Cinderella Christmas
A Nanny for Christmas
Christmas on the Range
The Christmas Contract

Hug to all and I agree that it's a blessing we are able to all enjoy some movies and also prefer our own favorites too :)

My favorite movies are usually because I like both of the two stars, plus the story. If I only like one of the stars it probably won't make my favorites list. And if I really don't like a particular star, after I've given them a few chances, (sometimes they get a bad pairing or an off movie,) I probably won't watch a new movie of theirs at all as I know what to expect. :headache:

I may give the movie a chance if MANY here recommend the movie. I would never have watched We Need a Little Christmas as I don't like Erica Durance and don't know the male lead. But, so many liked Lynn Whitfield, who was an older supporting character in the movie. I watched and I loved Lynn Whitfield. Lynn brought her Emmy Award winning talent to her portrayal of her character and she what made the movie. 🥰

LOL -- don't say her name! She's like Beetlejuice and will appear in a movie 🤣
