Hallmark Christmas Movies 🎄 comfort & joy ❤️

Yes. The trick is to have 2 actors that have a real chemistry, and some good dialog, and maybe a little twist in the plot. Which brings me to a question. What ever happened to "Finding Father Christmas". This meets all the above requirements but I have not seen it air in three years.

Sometimes Hallmark moves the older and BETTER movies to their lesser watched channels. I found two of my favorite older movies on Hallmark Family. (It used to be called Hallmark Drama and only pretty much shows reruns of Little House on the Prairie into infinity.) A couple of others moved to Hallmark Movies Now for a few years. They are finally returning back. Hallmark seems to think we will expand and move onto those channels instead of realizing we may not get all the channels, nor want to watch all of them even if we get them.

I have another movie question. I watched and overall enjoyed A Crafty Christmas Romance about Jonah and Mandy tracking down an elderly letter writer to Santa. I truly thought there was a similar lost/found movie where the person who was being searched for ended up being a longtime church member at the church one of the main character's regularly attends. Am I making this up? Thanks friends and Happy Thursday.

Luck seems to be on her side when she gets a coveted slot, singing during Fiore’s annual Christmas Eve concert, which is attended by a who’s who of the theatre world. But her big opportunity turns out to be a duet with Alex (Litz), who has been less than welcoming, and believes she was only given the job because the owner of Fiore’s is a family friend. They’re stuck with each other, though, since people have been plucked out of that show and put right on Broadway.

My Sweet Austrian Holiday

It's basically the same storyline as "Christmas By Starlight" with Kimberley Sustad. But in Vienna (very minimally portrayed). Of course, Will Kemp is very good.

That sounds better than what I thought. I thought it might be a mediocre version of Love, Romance & Chocolate but without with Lacey Chabert. They have two of the three actors from that movie, Will & Brittany. They even have a chocolate shop in a European country! Glad the story is something else.

I completely agree that the older movies and with simpler storylines are often much more impacting than newer plots.

I kind of feel like movie-makers can't win. I hear people complain on other threads about remakes - saying writers need to come up with new stuff. But then here we are, complaining that new stuff is too complicated and not as good as old stuff.

I think you're right. - I can't remember the name, but that story does sound familiar!

The Finding Mr. Christmas competition sounds cute. - I wish it was on the regular channel rather than the subscription one!

On Great American Family this Saturday:

🎄
Tails of Christmas

: Ash Tsai and Eric Guilmette.
Description: Caleb is injured in the Army and recovers through help from shelter therapy dogs. As a sign of thanks, Caleb returns home to help Amber run the local shelter and, in the process, discovers his feelings for Amber go beyond gratitude.

Tails of Christmas sounds interesting, thanks Imzadi!

I enjoyed Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas. I loved the town of Covington, ME. I cheered when the hospital patient who enjoyed dominoes got to go home for Christmas. Of course I loved the church choir scene and when the B&B owner placed her late husband's reindeer ornament on hrr tree--good for her! It was a refreshing different overall story that was well done.

Me too.

Found this last night. I watched. It's definitely interesting. But, it's up to you to decide if you want to watch it.
