Half points/half cash?

Hi there! New DVC member! We have an eight person family trip booked for November staying at AOA. Now that I have DVC, we want to stay in a 2 bedroom at OKW (my home resort). I have enough points to book us for seven of the nine nights. Is it possible to pay outright cash for those last two nights?

You can book them directly through Disney or call MS and see if they are available for cash with the DVC 25% discount. They are not always though.

Yes, if you book through DVC Member services, you may get a 25% discount, BUT there has to be availability in member inventory. Otherwise, you may need to book cash directly through Disney. If you are able to book through DVC, they can link the reservations so you won't have to change rooms. If you book through Disney cash reservations, you would need to check back in as a new reservation, and you may (or may not) need to change rooms. For the best chance of not having to change rooms, if you book through cash, do not book the Near HH category, as that is normally not available through cash reservations...and be sure to tell the front desk you have a continuing stay. No single night may be booked on mixed points and cash, but other than that, everything should be fine.

Just be aware that the rooms offered for cash are not the same ones offered for points via member booking site.

But, I think with OKW, it’s one of the best resorts for them to be available for cash!
