Half Day Disney Tickets Sold at Gaylord Palms?

I read on the Trip Advisor board that you can buy a half day ticket at the Gaylord Palms Hotel if you are at a convention there. Has anyone heard of this? TIA

I believe you can get them through the convention sponsor. I remember I was at WDW once when a large convention of electrical workers at the Orlando Convention Center got 1/2 day tickets starting at 2:00pm at Epcot for one of the days.
