half board vouchers

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all. Every time I have been to Disney I've always just gone to the restaurant I fancy. Could you tell me please if the half board vouchers save me any money as I would get discount from the shareholders club anyway. We want to have a character cafe Mickey but this could be booked on our arrival, could it. Many thanks

I think most people agree that the vouchers aren't worth buying unless you want to pre pay for your meals of if they are included with your package.

Are you aware that Cafe Mickey is a set menu now and not a la carte?

Agree with Tennisfan, plus if you get shareholder discount it will cheaper using that than the dining plan

Thankyou for your response. Will just stick to normal. I knew it was now a set menu at cafe Mickey. This is still the place where the Character dinner is held isn't it or has it changed.

Yes it is, just wasn't sure you knew it had changed as I would hate for you to go not knowing and then be disappointed

I'm going with my friend this time as my son is all grown up. It's been a big break from Disney and I can't wait to go again. I'm sure I'll see lots of chAnges. I'm more worried about veggie options as my friend is one. Thankyou for your help x
