Half board vouchers - getting best value

We booked the half board plus vouchers before I took the plunge and bought shares (not that I've received the shareholder letter yet, despite them saying they posted it on 28/07:sad2:)
What I want to know is how I can get the best value from my vouchers, some places like Cape Cod are clear cut however there are some such as Agrabah that cost much less than the voucher cost and others that cost more e.g. Inventions (lunch). If I'm using the vouchers at face value can I use more/less vouchers than the number of people to even up the bills? If not can I add extra drinks on to the cheaper bills and save the bottles for later?
I know I can't use the vouchers and shareholder's discount together but if I'm paying part payment for meals with the vouchers can I pay for the drinks separately and get the discount on those?
Just trying to work out the easiest way of getting the best value - I know it's going to be expensive but I might as well try and get the best deal going!

I think you'll get the best discount using shareholders card. We've done both ways but don't eat in the premier restaurants - Annettes - much cheaper than the voucher amount, Cafe Mickey - with just pizzas and fries, much cheaper than the voucher amount.

I suppose it depends where you want to eat. I know that previously we only used some of the vouchers to pay for our Annettes meal - but we never got to use the one we missed at the next restaurant.

On balance i'd say definitely go for the shareholders discount, or your head will be hurting by the time you come home ;)

As you have already gone for Half Board I would go for Restaurants that are most expensive within that category and therefore more than the value of the voucher. If you upgrade at Cafe Mickey you only get the amount you paid for it deducted so no savings there! I would say Walts and Blue Lagoon and possibly Character meal at Cowboy Cookout, but not as sure about the value there since changed from Lucky Nugget. Also Hunters Grill buffet at SL is good value. I don't know about discount for drinks with shareholders but worth a try.:surfweb:
