Good Morning Folks!

Actually Dave - we do not leave until tomorrow morning - at 0 dark 30! We will fly to Orlando, then drive to the port. We will board the ship on Sunday. Yes - this is a B2B on the Wonder - the 2nd cruise is the 10th Anniversary of the Wonder and we have a lot of friends on that one, we could not just go on a 3 day cruise, and WDW this time of year is not fun, so we opted to make it a B2B and stay on the ship for a week.

Vicki - I do rotate shoes, I seem to have 2 pair at any given time, I usually buy them on sale at our local running store, and I usually end up with 2 at a time because I cannot decide which is the most comfortable! But if both are on sale, then I usually am not paying too much more than for 1 pair at regular price.

Sue - we have only cruised with DCL - Scott would not even think about a cruise until Disney built a ship - now he loves it - we stick to DCL because we can cruise on DVC points. We have a Baltic cruise booked for June 2010 that several of the folks who started on DCL have moved to another line that has the same itinery for half the price.

Kim - Yes - all packed, except for the things like the I-Pod I will be using later today, and the garmin I will be using later today. By this evening, all will be charged up and packed - dogs will be at puppy camp (the kennel) - and the alarm will be set for 3:30am:scared1:

I got in my 3 mile walk this morning, will shortly be heading out for bike ride which I missed yesterday - weather did not cooperate. Afternoon chores are mowing the lawn. Have a great week all - I may not get back here until I get home!

Scott and Lynn, a cruise with you guys is in our future I just know it is. Might be a few years but it's gonna happen. Would love to do the Baltic trip.

Y'all come home safe to us.

Dave:hippie:

Happy Friday Everyone!

We are in for the rainy weekend (maybe!) The weather keeps on changing. Next week looks very hot & humid.

Have a great weekend of training.......Sue

Jack, This is my dilemma. I know we can't go wrong with Disney. Love the service, love the ship, love CC. etc. My DD will be 9 when we cruise. Just thought the bigger ships with rock wall/ mini golf etc would really appeal to her. But I'm concerned about getting off the ship at port with 4000+ people, service (friendliness) of staff etc.

Sue~ having a 9yoa DD brings it own safety concerns,:confused3, as you know Disney goes the extra mile to make sure the kids are safe. We used to travel every February vacation and would meet the same families so the kids already had a connection and would watch out for one another, my two sons 18 & 14 still enjoy cruising DCL because of the friends they will know. Good luck! Have a great weekend!

I'll ditto all said about DCL,

We are at DEN awaiting our flight...

Might try for a run tomorrow morn, but would have to pack stinky wet clothes....we will see, I will most likely be up early.

I use old clothes and leave 'em or zip lock 'em. Have a great trip  the Board's gonna creep along with out you guys.

Good morning Team!

Scott and Lynn have a great time! Stay sober....:lmao:

Jack - did you just say we had a creepy board?? :snooty: :rotfl:
You are right though, Scott and Lynn add a lot to our daily viewing!

Dave - hope your spirits are lifted, friend.

Margie!! :woohoo: Sara is on the fast track to recovery! That means we get to see more of you, soon!!! :cloud9:

Sue! I guess you told us once before how your whole family was dedicated to a fit lifestyle. That's wonderful. I can get mine on board for a while, but when it wears off, it's a whole different ball game....wander if I could get them interested in playing a ball game......

It was a beautiful morning for a walk...although it was still dark even when we got home. Kinda fun waking up the birds and the dogs and the roosters though. Jon decided to walk with me. He has his annual hunting trip coming up. Me? I am going to go see Margie! -- Uhm, anyway, we did 2.11 miles this morning. About got my walking feets under me. Training is coming up fast!!!!

He has decided to come with me to WDW! That will be fun!

See ya! Connie

Good Morning!

Yesterday was my "go all out" day.....

7.25 miles on the treadmill (don't ask how long it took), 4.5 miles on the bike, followed by the workout with the personal trainer...

Is there an OWWWW smilie??

Have a great day all!

Terri

Hi TEAM! :wave2:

Scott & Lynn-enjoy the moments! :upsidedow

Connie- Very excited ::yes::

:hippie: Race this morning - :cheer2: Glad you liked the too-cute little panda. And that it was a bit of bright spot to your day. :flower3:

The morning bike ride was canceled due to heavy rains & lightening... Looks like they have set in for all day. :scared:

DD is much better - no ER visits this week! :goodvibes
The summer is almost gone but I feel like things might get a little more normal than it has been for a long time.

Nurse thinks the wound vac will come off Monday, the IV drips will be done on the 13th, and the picc line will come out. Hagen & I let Mommy get some sleep, she gets up to do the IV drip by 4:am and that sometimes last almost 2 hours, so she needed a few extra moments. :faint:

Hello everyone! Got out this morning for my long run. Tomorrow and next week is suppose to be hot and humid. I think the weather forecast said with the humidity it's suppose to feel like 44C (I think that's 111F). Crazy!

I ran 8 miles this morning at a 12 m/m pace. Nice and slow - I wanted to take it easy on my back and knee. My back still a little twingy. I'll back out (early) tomorrow morning for my 3 miler.

Dave - Can we see a picture of your new panda friend :)

Margie - Glad to hear DD is doing better!

Lynn - I think the next time shoes are on sale, I'll just grab a bunch of them. The NB pair I have now is a little cheaper than the Asics from last year but still work out to $150 once you add in the tax. (Did I mention we have a 13% sales tax :( ). So rotating two pairs is a little pricey. Or perhaps I just need a better paying job.

Connie - Give Margie a big group hug for all of us :)

Terri - That's a hardcore workout! WTG!

That's all for me! Have a great day everyone!!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Good Evening Team!

We have made it to Port Canaveral - it is HOT here! We are not used to this humidity! We watched the Magic sail away tonight while we ate dinner at Grills. Great dinner!

Have a great week team!

Scott can you take your Rum and stuff on board with you? Sounds like a super time. You have a boat, booze and a babe, that works for us rednecks anytime.

Dave:hippie:

Hey team, quick check in....boy off the internet and I swear you can never catch up.

Had a really, really bad food day yesterday. Taste of the Danforth yesterday which is our annual local Greek Food Festival...OMG.....Love the food, we go every year...well except last year :) Then off to a friends for a BBQ and she is from Italy...wow this lady knows how to put out a spread....actually driving home I said to Mike, you know how you can always save room for ice cream...the ice cream wouldn't fit now...OMG...well time to start to work it off today....it was all worth it. Great day with awesome friends!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!!

Good Morning All!

Scott and Lynn, have a fun time this week. So relaxing to be on a cruise. Not one of my favorite things to do but it is a beauty of a ship and Castaway Cay is perfect.

Mark and I are starting to do 4 miles at a time. We went out Weds, Fri and Sat. Taking today off. I have mounds of paperwork to do and help the dd Miranda pack and move into her new condo, provided she doesn't deliver the princess before. Ekkkkkkkkkkk hope all is timed perfectly for them. Closing on the 21st. Due date is either the 21st or the 29th depending on the ultrasound tech or her Dr. Either way it's cutting it close.

Both Mark and I feel much better with our morning walks so I"m happy to be doing that again.

Well as I said, mounds of paperwork for Mark which is a good thing, lets hope the checks far outweigh the bills - by the looks of things they do!

Have a great Sunday, will check in when I can.

denise
