DVCajun,
I want to learn about the hairless cat in your signature. What kind of cat is that? I know more about dogs; does it compare to a Chinese Crested? Are they healthy? I just wondered...

Also, I noticed the picture is from LOLcats on Failblog. I absolutely love the failblog! I have to check it everyday for my daily smile.

I realize I have probably opened a thread that will give everyone an opportunity for some great jokes...I really do want to know about the cat. AND I want to read your jokes...

The breed is Sphynx. For inside info on the breed, check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphynx_(cat)

I have loved hairless cats since I was a little girl and first saw them featured in a coffee table cat breed book. You wouldn't believe how soft they are! Like a warm peach! :goodvibes They are very healthy, and have no health problems related to their lack of fur.

Their personality is not that of a typical cat. They are very intelligent, social and involved in the family. They are the first ones at the door when someone visits. They love to ride in the car, too, and they FETCH! They also love water. Here are a couple of pics of my babies to illustrate what I'm talking about:

I took this with my phone while driving down the road. Note the definite lack of hiding under the seat!! LOL

failblog and icanhascheezburger are two of my favorite spots online. I know I will be laughing out loud within seconds every time. :lmao:

Thanks for the information. They are so amazing. I guess I am so fascinated because I have two collies so our house is full of fur! It sounds like you have the best worlds of both the cat and dog wrapped up in one pet!

That is so cool. THANKS!

I check those sites every day. I am guaranteed a laugh...
