It is a bit more layered than I was thinking of trying for the first try but it looks darling and I also think you look younger, more up-to-date and I don't know...just better! (And remember, you were already very pretty so this is a really good thing!!)

I'm not a hairdresser, but I did color my own hair tonight. But I don't think that would work with your face so well. The model's face seems longer whereas your face is a bit rounder. I was thinking of a John and Kate Plus 8 type cut for you? I really like my hairdresser and trust him to "do whatever you think", maybe try that unless you've never been to that hairdresser before

Also, Kate's hair is a huge NO!

But OP, I think the style you like would look good on you. I just have no idea how difficult it would be with curly hair since mine is straight.

I love to hear you all think it makes me look younger....I'm turning 40 in 2 weeks so the timing is just great The kids weren't sure what to make of it when they came home from school...they said it's "different", but DH says he really likes it. I just hope I can get it to look right when I do it myself!

It will definitely take some getting used to, but I figured what the heck! If I want to experiment with my hair, now is the time to do it since the humidity is ending and I won't have that do deal with on top of a new style!
